Michelle –
I’ve only used it a couple times now by it’s super easy to use. It seems to get a lot hotter than the one it replaced so keep that in mind and use more conservative settings until your used to it.

We’ve had our cooktop installed for a few weeks and are loving it. The controls are a little annoying at first, but once you get the hang of them-it’s fine.
DaveZFresh –
If you want to make your kitchen pop I suggest this cooktop will do the trick. Took about 3weeks get arrive but well worth the wait.
Jaynie –
This LG Cooktop is easy to clean and so easy to use.
Bill –
Looks nice and does what it’s supposed to. Only down side is when it’s not locked, you can’t set anything near the touchscreen or it starts beeping at you.
LaLa –
Love the modern and slender look of the cooktop. Very easy to use, love that it is all touch screen and that it chimes/beeps when you turn it on/off.

This has been installed since late January 2020. In the first 5 months we experienced a very unsafe condition. I was cooking on the rear left burner and right front burner when all of a sudden the front burner turned off and the rear burner stopped cycling on and off. I was unable to turn off the rear burner in all the ways you are supposed to. I had to run out to the garage and flip the circuit breaker so the the top would not overheat. After waiting 30 seconds I flipped the power back on and every LED on the board was flashing. I pressed the ON/Off and all was fine after that. Scary part was I am the only one who would have known what to do here. Anyone else would have burned down the house. Also be aware that any inadvertent sliding of a pan across the stainless steel or glass surface will scratch the surfaces. Also note most of your pans are not PERFECTLY flat so that will be an issue. Try boiling water in a large not flat pan. It will rock back and forth and the burner will cycle off more because of poor contact. Also the surface looks like it has grease spots all over it all the time as designed. This model also takes longer to boil water as the elements tend to cycle off even though the pot isn’t close to boiling yet. I bought a 5 year warranty with this so………..to be continued.

Good cooktop. Big one. Be sure that you have enough space before buying it
PapaG –
Sleek, yet big enough for all my cooking needs and it is beautiful to boot!

Nice addition to my kitchen, all appliances blend very well with my color scheme.

Only thing you may find a bit strange is you have to hold your finger on the buttons for a couple seconds. Sensors do not respond to your actions instantaneously.
Rog77 –
Attractive, easy to use. Operating instructions regarding the dual-sized heating element are not completely clear and requires some trial and error. Once you figure it out it’s simple.

We had a JennAir ceramic cooktop that held up well for over 15 years, but replaced it with this LG model LSCE305ST when we remodeled our kitchen in 2019 . . . big mistake! The SmoothTouch™ controls look cool but are not responsive, and often need to be pressed more than once before they engage. We’ve only used a recommended cooktop cleaner, but the surface on this unit deteriorated and showed wear quickly. Also, within the first month, the cooktop control panel repeatedly displayed flashing lights indicating “low voltage detection.” An electrician confirmed our power supply is perfectly fine, and concluded the problem is the LG cooktop. So every month or so, we’ve had to turn the power off and on at the breaker box to force the cooktop to reset and work again. Then, under normal usage, the ceramic surface melted and stuck to the bottom of a pan. See photos. We never had anything happen like this with our old JennAir. When we contacted LG within the warranty period, they sent a contractor who took a couple pictures and then told us that LG refused to repair or replace the unit. According to the contractor, LG claimed we must have dropped something on the cooktop (which of course would have cracked the glass, and not melted it in a circle). We were very surprised that LG doesn’t honor its warranty.

Sleek design and easy to clean. Like the child lock.

Nice smooth low profile. My old cooktop stuck way up from the countertop. This is much better, It cooks evenly and very fast. Touch controls are easdy to use, Easy clean up.

Really enjoy our new cooktop and especially like the touch controls! So much easier to clean than our old cooktop with knobs!

The glass cook top is excellent love it. Easy to use and to clean as well.

We bought this same model in 2016 and I’ve enjoyed using it. Cleaning isn’t difficult mine doesn’t have the metal edge it’s smooth which makes it easy to clean. We now have a problem though, it’s making a beeping sound every few minutes. We’ve tried to correct by turning off the circuit breaker to no avail. The part to fix is no longer available so I’ll have to replace it. Very disappointed with LG.
