This dishwasher cleans wonderfully and is really quiet. I love the third row and and the WiFi capability. It does not dry very well, I looked this up on YouTube and many say that using a rinsing agent will help with the poor drying, I will try that and hopefully it helps. The poor drying feature is why I give this product 4 out of 5 stars.

The best dishwasher!
1) Smaller footprint than our last workhorse unit that lasted 20 years and surprisingly fits considerably more (1.5x’s more). We generate a lot of dirty dishes and this surprisingly efficient space fits much more.
2) Better than the highly rated Bosch unit (we have experience with it at another home) – quieter, controls are hidden and well thought out, each level was designed with purpose and higher tines for regular and irregular plate sizes and extra 3rd level is fantastic, and did I mention it cleans really well! I forgot to say that the LG app seems to work well too… bonus feature!
3) An appliance that functions as well as it looks!
Buy it! We are really pleased with our purchase since it was in stock and delivered by respectful, mask wearing Best Buy delivery men (who give you notifications and messages when it will be delivered).
I sound like I’m getting paid by LG (sadly I’m not) but I do have to put out there that you pay for what you get. This unit was more expensive than most with a stainless steel tub. I was reluctant to pay the high cost but during the pandemic – to find appliances in stock, delivered in a timely manner and that fit the space requirements forced my hand. I could have waited for a sale, but I do not know about you – when your old faithful dishwasher dies – who likes hand washing a family worth of dishes each night?

I installed this my self and used the power cord from my old dishwasher. To instill and install the new one it took me about an hour. First time doing it. The washer it self has a ton of room inside you can fit a very big pot in there. Once I turned it on I wasn’t sure if it was working because it was so quite. It takes some getting use to are as there are a lot of cycles but it definitely gets the job done.

So quiet, great at cleaning and love the light! Which it stayed on longer or you had an option to turn it back on(without closing and reopening). Really love everything about it except it wicks at drying dishes. I’ve tried all different cycles and drying options and everything still needs to be hand dried. For 1000+, drying shouldn’t be an issue

We love this product. It is extremely quiet and has so many different energy saving options for different types of wash. The ability to raise and lower the racks allows for irregular and oversized dishes and pots to be placed properly. The light is definitely a commodity. Although we have a semi-smart home, we are yet to use remote start. We do like the notification when dishes are complete.

The dishwasher leaks, the top control panel cracked after only 4 months and it randomly stops running in the middle of a cycle. Worst dishwasher ever owned.

After researching all the higher end Dishwasher options from Bosch, KitchenAid, Samsung, LG, GE, etc, I landed on this LG Studio.
There are 3 key things that made me buy this and also now make me happy that I did –
1. It is QUIET. I’d put it up against the equivalent tier KitchenAid or Bosch any day of the week. It comes with an extra sound dampening kit for the front kickplate of the dishwasher as well to help mute the water-line noise when the tub is filling, which is honestly the loudest part of the washing process.
2. The internal LED lights in the washtub are FANTASTIC. Makes unloading a lot easier because you never miss anything that’s in the back of the tub.
3. The Folding prongs in the top and bottom baskets – They allow for large casserole dishes & pots with no problem. In my old washer the prongs were all bent in some way because at some point, a large bowl or dish was washed and it bent them. That’s not an issue on this model at all.
Bonus Feature: The top (1st) silverware tray that allows for a much more even distribution of water across dirty forks and spoons makes for a much cleaner set of silverware every single wash cycle.
Bonus Feature #2: The LG ThinQ Connected Home capability makes getting notifications on my phone when the wash & dry cycle is complete really convenient and helps me stay on top of the dishes if there’s more to wash.
All up, this is the best dishwasher I’ve owned and I am glad I went with LG.
If you’re shopping for a washer in this price range, this is the one. Look no further.

Great dishwasher. The reviews that say it doesn’t dry are because they aren’t following the instructions of making sure it starts with hot water and using a rinse aid. If you follow the directions it works perfectly and is silent.

This is so super quiet! Cleans dishes and pots so well. With a built in steamer which I’m guessing helps a lot with the cleaning. I cannot comment on the longevity of this particular product yet but I have LG branded ref, microwave and gas cooktop/oven for years now and not had a single problem with them. This helped me decide to get LG dishwasher when it was time for me to upgrade.

We replaced a top of the line Electrolux dishwasher with this LG Studio 24″ Top control dishwasher. I keep being amazed at how well this dishwasher is (or how poor the previous dishwasher was).
The review complain that everything isn’t dry. That is because there is no dry heat in most new dishwashers. But the steam/overnight dry works very well. And the cleaning ability???? Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I previously had to make sure anything we put in the dishwasher was clean of food particles. I washed a baked mac and cheese pan with lots of black crispy particles and lots of cheese left on it. It came out sparkling clean. In fact, all our dishes look like new after being washed in this machine. This is my 6th dishwasher in my lifetime and it runs circles around any previous machine. Lg got this one right. I would highly recommend this machine.

I’ve used it at least a dozen times now. PRO’s: Really amazing just how quiet it is – 1st time I had to open it because I didn’t think it was working after it added water. Having only used the default settings, which include ‘Extra Dry’ for me, everything is clean and dry except for the usual suspects which hold bits of water no matter what. The only CON I have to date is what you can’t see, and per the installers, the way LG routes the drain can make it difficult to get the dishwasher installed square and level in the existing opening sometimes. I’m one of the ‘sometimes’ so what that means is the dishwasher is not centered in the opening (no big deal really) and to attach it to the countertop all-in-all leaves it higher in the front, than the back – the inside roller dish trays don’t stay out in the loadingunloading position. They roll back into the dishwasher. Best they could do after 30 minutes of mucking with it. Again, not a deal breaker for the PRO of being able to run it while talking, watching TV, sleeping, etc. and NOT hear it! 🙂

Everything in/about this dishwasher is efficient and purposeful. It provides a timer, and high-speed (1 hour, turbo) and like-new-clean (3 1/2 hours, steam-assisted) cycles, and useful ones in-between, (e.g. 1 1/2 hour, turbo with extra-hot water).
The racks are light but sturdy, and efficiently designed. The interior LEDs are actually quite useful, and the filters are easy to access/clean.
The worst I could say about it – LG’s already obsoleted the handle design. We have the LG Studio microwave/ convection oven in this style, and would replace the range and fridge with models from that line.
Perhaps the most-outstanding feature of LG studio appliances is their “economy-plus” value-pricing point.
They provide virtually all the features/styling of appliances costing up to 2-3X as much.

We bought this a year and a half ago and it was way out of our price range . We pretty much had no choice . Our dishwasher broke durning Covid . We were not able to get one that was 6-700$ due to no stock and them playing catch up . The only ones available were the expensive ones . So I took a shot and bought it thinking “ well it should last a while” considering the price . Well I was wrong . It still works but the LED lighting on the display has failed . At the end of a cycle it reads END ours says [ l D . The E is missing the middle line and the N is just a line . Also the rack is rusting as you see in the pictures . I would expect this to happen 5-6 years down the road but not a year and a half ! This is the first time I bought a LG product. It is also the last !!!

Had this for a year DO NOT BUY. It randomly stops working. Despite a certified tech visit from LG (who blamed the plumbing setup despite the previous washer working fine) and a plumber who blamed LG for maybe having faulty drain sensors. I can’t resolve this. At this point I’m throwing it away and replacing it with something that works as LG service is worthless.

This is a nice dishwasher overall, very quiet, cleans great, I feel confident it will last a while. However I give it four stars instead of five because it’s nearly impossible to keep the bottom rack on the track, it’s almost weird. Every time we put something on the bottom rack the rack JUMPS off the track and we have to stay bent over for an extended period of time and fight with it to get it back on, it’s strange actually because there is no apparent reason for this, My middle aged back hurts, if you have a back that hurts, you may want to explore other options. If not, this model should do fine.
