I’m surprised at how much the family likes this fridge. Top features: (1) the french door mechanism works quite well and makes access easy, (2) the window into the quick access front section is great… knocking twice to turn on the light is just a great extra, and (3) the craft icemaker makes great “ice balls,” especially in 3/day mode.
The look and feel of this studio model is great. The steel and titanium look is great. Overall it has a quality feel.
Only mild niggle: the main icemaker makes a bit more noise than I’m used to.

These LG frigs are seductive when you’re shopping, but plan to spend an additional $1,000 in repairs after a year. I got a broken wire inside the door and no dispensing or buttons now. My co-worker got a dead control board. My friend’s added an awful taste to her water even after flushing a new filter. We all got the same “sorry” after a long hold with the warranty supervisor because the 1 year warranty was passed. Suggest you get your $4,000 frig from a company not named LG!

When our old refrigerator died we had to find a new one, after looking at many we settled on this LG counter depth refrigerator and we love it, the dual Ice makers with ice balls are wonderful.
The door In a door is very nice also to get to our most used items quickly, and it is just nice looking inside and out. We would recommend this refrigerator.

Read a lots of bad review saying no LG fridge due to all sort of issues within couple months of usage. But we still went with it since the bad reviews are proportionally less than the traditional better brands. It turns out a good buy, and honestly, we’re glad we made the right choice! We have it for almost 3 months, it is ultra quiet compares to an old GE fridge we had before, and we did not have any problem with freezer and drawer temperature, which were the top issues from those bad reviews . The STUDIO design looks elegant, and the InstaView and craft ice features become the spot light of the house when friends and family came over. The only low light on this fridge would be the freezer drawer, which is not easy to find food underneath; but I guess this is the common issue for french door fridge. Also, BestBuy’s delivery service is 5 stars that the crew is polite and very careful with our new carpet and wood floor.

Beyond excited that I bought this fridge. So far so good in terms in quality and ease of use. Grateful to see the old white interior when you open the doors instead you get that premium look. Craft ice is a bit slower but i can manage with cubed and crushed for now. Door alerts if open can get annoying but it also notifys me through the app which is pretty cool when im away from home. Overall, happy with this purchase. I get amazing compliments from everyone who sees my fridge. Also got 5 year warranty on this too, just in case 🙂

Love this refrigerator. The counter depth makes my kitchen look larger. The double ice maker is perfect. The large cubes do not melt quickly – great for ice buckets and ice chests. The fourth door for opening is perfect for getting out items used frequently.

Only got this fridge because our previous newly purchased GE had broken button upon delivery. Best Buy would only replace it with an in-stock item, and during the pandemic this was the only option as all other models happen to be sold out or on back order including our GE which we would of just rather had replaced. Ice maker has already broke on it. It’s terrible! Happened to my parents fridge also (same model) so we knew it would likely happen to ours…pretty upset that we had to spend so much on a lousy appliance that we didn’t even want. Kind of forced into getting this one and now it quit working a few years later. $3500 down the drain.

Looked at fridges for months…saw this one with the gray interior…Craft ice and regular ice maker, small windowed door for typical items you use everyday. Bottom freezer.
Replaced our old side by side fridge…we are finding that this is far superior then the one we bought 18 yrs ago…the key is bottom freezer…you can get so much more organized with frozen foods then a cramped side by side fridge…we love it so far! We were lucky to get the floor model when the newer model replaced it…so it was way cheaper.

We love our LG Studio fridge! Especially the craft ice cubes. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because our craft ice maker stopped working. Luckily Studio has a 2 year warranty and our fridge is only 1.5 years old. When I called LG they kept telling me it only had a 1 year warranty. I finally sent an email and they scheduled a tech the next week. He fixed the issue in 5 min! He replaced the main ice cube unit. It’s a known problem with this fridge. The gears on the ice cube maker get stripped over time. We will more than likely have to replace it in the future too. Bummer! The newer model of this fridge is supposed to have that defect fixed.

Got a manufacture, defected refrigerator. LG has the worst warranty service that I have ever tried to work with run away from this refrigerator and to somebody who has an American-based warranty service so that you can get it processed in an orderly fashion. Best of luck. Cheers.

They stated Best Buy would contact us and make it right. Past us to an insurance co, that after two weeks hasn’t called, and I can’t get a hold of.

The reason I bought this $3500 fridge 18 months ago was for the craft ice, which I love when it is working. Mine has been out for 2 months. Luckily, I discovered this fridge has a 2 year warranty, so i’ll be back in business soon. You can literally see the plastic fitting that broke on the craft ice maker. There is a class action lawsuit out there on these friges, and there are a ton of complaints online about them malfunctioning in a variety of ways.
Not sure I’d buy another, but i do love the craft ice when it works properly. I’m pretty sure the warranty replacement will fail at some point as well. But for now I’m happy.
