I love everything about this laptop. Its lightweight wide screen design has made a huge impact my productivity. It’s very fast and allows me to run 20+ chrome tabs simultaneously with work software applications such as Xactimate X1 which can sometimes require a lot of memory to work properly. So pleased with my purchase. The battery life is also game change mr for me. With this machine I feel more free!

I used an old laptop as long as I could. This one was recommended by Consumer Reports. I love it! The screen is huge, the Best Buy folks helped transfer old files, and I am much better equipped now for clients.
Keeno –
Excellent laptop. Super lightweight. Great for people wanting a bigger screen but without heavy lifting.
Brethren –
So far it appears to be living up to its great rating as found in Consumer Reports Magazine. Also we were glad to find it locally with a wonderful discount.

This is my second LG Gram and I love it. My first one is still working after 7yrs but my husband wanted to get me a new one so he could take the old one to use in the garage. The laptop is so light and easy to travel with. I LOVE IT ❤️
Samsung43 –
This laptop seems highly sensitive to touch, but it is easier to navigate than my MacBook Pro. The colors are vibrant.
KSNewYork –
So nice we bought it twice.
– Actually 3 time, but ‘nice’ and ‘twice’ rhyme.
It’s fast, light, and bright.

I have had problems with this laptop from the jump. Trying to update my Garmin. Need to download Garmin Express three tries, three failures. Can play a few games but hard to load, iffy at best. This computer or Windows 11? regardless, LG is responsible.
CDute –
Really like this LG gram 17” laptop. It’s got a nice widescreen with a beautiful picture, yet it’s so light compared to my old laptop. The old one felt like it weighed 100lbs in my backpack. This LG gram is perfect at just 3lbs. It has all the functions and abilities I need and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get a new laptop.
Rongilb770 –
This is a truly amazing laptop. Super light, yet strong metal construction. It fits in the case like a 15.6 but its a 17. The graphics are stunning!! I watch TV on it and a crowd gathers, very smooth eith DJ software and not dangerous on the stand.
clovisguy –
I’ve seen good and bad reviews for these LG Gram laptops. I wanted large screen, light and an fair price. When the sale hit I had to jump on it. This laptop seemed to suit my criteria. Have it now and love it!!! Very light, good battery life and performance for me, is fine. Not a gaming laptop but I use it for business and some home use. Had quite a bit of bloatware to remove but don’t they all nowadays??

Overall Great! Light weight is giving me freedom. Battery time is also satisfied.
Greatdrive –
Very nice laptop. lightweight and really like the back lit keys.
MalcolmB –
Great Laptop,,,definitely worth buying…………
ArtificialAirspeed –
Display: Beautiful, vivid, and bright with accurate color replication.
Keyboard/Trackpad: Backlighting is perfect and trackpad is large enough for gestures and productivity uses such as signatures.
Aesthetically a very pleasing laptop with impossibly lightweight existence for the size and capability of this laptop.

After 3 weeks of ownership, I am very happy with this purchase. Pretty easy to move files from my HP Envy to this LG laptop using an EasyStore SSD. The sound, camera, and microphone for use with Zoom are very good. Have not used the laptop for Excel yet, but works well with Word, Yahoo e-mail, and internet searches. Have not used Alexa yet since we don’t have that feature in our house (unfamiliar with how it works).

I love this thing! The LG gram 17 is like a feather. It works flawlessly and I have had no issues. I bought this open box on sale. I dont know if Id pay the original price for this computer because I just cant justify the cost for what I need it for. But other than that its amazing and I am surprised how great this computer is given the fact LG isnt really known for computers.
Oh yeah the battery life is great! Beats my HP hands down!
Soco –
Love it. Very user friendly. Great picture and speed.
StephanieM –
Large screen & very lightweight. Had it about month so can’t yet speak to how it will hold up, but so far so good.

I’m very satisfied with this 17″ LG ‘gram’ laptop, esp. at the price I paid. It is “last year’s model” (12th Gen Intel Evo i7 vs. current 13th Gen offerings), but coming from a 12-year-old Toshiba Qosmio, anything would be an upgrade. One of the biggest improvements is battery life. I changed or disabled a few of the battery saving settings, running it in semi-high performance mode, and easily get 10+ hours. “Power Mode” is set to Best Performance, and I tweaked a few things in the old Power control panel.
Having owned three LG TVs, I expected a great display, and this one does not disappoint. Plentiful RAM and a 1 TB SSD are great to have. It runs Windows 11 Home just fine. That was probably the biggest adaptation, coming from Windows 7.
From a pure aesthetics POV, I love the understated elegance, from the barely visible LG logo at the bottom of the screen’s bezel, to the reflective inlay of the ‘gram’ logo on the lid. There are barely any lights to speak of (e.g., no HDD activity light), but the light that matters – backlit keyboard – comes with two levels of brightness and a configurable timeout in one of the LG apps.
There was very little bloatware to delete (just two for me; I left the LG apps)
One review mentioned (and depicted, IIRC) the fact that the surface can be a bit of a fingerprint/palm print magnet. That may be true, esp. due to the fact that it’s black, but I find it cleans up very easily with a nominally damp paper towel and microfiber cloth. The 14″ white version my wife got shows very little. Kudos to LG for making that one in white. Absolutely made her day 🙂
The weight is fantastic, esp. for a 17″, but again, comparing it to the old Qosmio.
The only minor annoyance is the Realtek sound chip. It’s hamstrung at 16-bit 44.1 & 48 kHz, and 24-bit 44.1 & 48 kHz. I’m at a loss as to why they didn’t include a chip capable of up to at least 24-bit 192 kHz, or program this one for that. OTOH, it is onboard sound. For real “audiophile” quality, one would likely use an external DAC or DAC+amp. My Schiit Audio Hel+ takes care of LG’s oversight, and I won’t ding them for it. YMMV, of course. The Hel+ runs fine out of one of the USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, and would likely do so from one of the USB-3 ports on the other side.
All in all I’m loving the upgrade.

Great laptop. Good battery life. Sharp display. Would recommend it.
ABrooks –
Lighter than expected. Powerful machine. Audio is a bit quiet though, so it’s not great for watching media without a headset.
excPLOU –
Great laptop, light. Quality screen and powerful enough for daily tasks
Kaos –
Ican believe how light is this laptop, it feels strong, motnitor brightness is pretty good.
Butch –
Fastest computer I’ve ever owned
It runs cool great graphics and sound
TerriG –
This is my second LG gram 17″ — iIgot this one for my husband. It’s a dream to carry since it is so light, yet you have a larger screen, which I really appreciate. I use it mostly for Office functions (documents, spreadsheets, email, web browsing, etc.). Battery life is decent and it has more than enough speed and memory for my needs. I highly recommend it.
Reckonso –
Great screen and super lightweight 17″ laptop. Ergonomics are just right. I will say that it feels a bit flimsey, but absolutely no issues related to that at all. Overall a great value. Note that it does NOT have a tough screen.
Njuser –
Amazingly light. Incredible for size. Only knock os screen is matte. Makes documents look a little cartoonish. But for videos is amazing. And no reflection. Also touchpad is overly sensitive.
Digil –
Overall a very nice laptop, but it runs hot. I added a second SSD drive using the NvMe connector on the mother board. Due to increased heat, the drive started to fail intermittently. After some researched, I turned off processor turbo boost mode. That made a big difference in heat build up. I am using it in that mode. Performance is ok with turbo boost off
Sara –
I’m very happy with my new laptop and my sales person so extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what exactly I needed.
DennisH –
Fast startup and functionality. Light as heck. Great for traveling
LisaC –
i was traveling and i wanted a lightweight computer. this is supper light. they only thing i wish it had was a backlit keyboard. but the screen is big and the battery life is much better than my macbook.
ZahoorD –
Very good laptop at a good price
They were supposed to give one month free gaming
I am still waiting
scarlett –
It is very light weight, easy to use, so far it has been good.
StacyW –
super easy setup, very fast, great price (I got it open box, excellent condition)
JoelS –
Overall is a nice laptop. Battery life is decent, about five to six hours. The material feels a little cheap but is in fact not that easy to break unless you’re so careless. Keyboard feels amazing and the screen makes it absolutely ideal for business purposes. I would improve in the design though. The lightweight is the most desirable feature.
Msjones –
I loved the laptop but it did not have a touch screen
Customer –
I’ve been using this for school and it runs very smoothly.
YvetteT –
I’ve been using my LG gram laptop for a month now and I love it!
PhilipL –
This was a nice laptop as far the 17″ screen, but the arrangement of the keyboard to the trackpad was the biggest problem. I felt like I had to skew my hands to the left to type correctly or get used to my RH resting on the trackpad while typing. Neither felt comfortable. The dealbreaker that caused me to return the laptop was the video was not syncing to the audio on any of the apps, whether youtube or the video player. Best Buy gave me no hassle on the return, and I ended up buying the LG gram 2-in-1 (14″).
BostonTennisPlayer –
The LG-gram 17″ Ultra Laptop very lightweight.
Not registering nor use yet, did powered on, the screen not like McBook Pro 16″. No comparison. The color just not worth for the price selling currently. If I’d have to pay for this unit- I would like to see the price in $750.00. For this reason, I gave three stars.
Jcjc –
Very light and thin, but I’m not sure I like the fan sounds so frequently. Overall sounds and the graphic is not really that appealing but its ok. Screen is indeed big tho.
BrendanW –
Blue screen of death once my IT guy got ahold of it. Will return.
RyanK –
Very lightweight, plenty of processing power, a big screen. Using the built in speakers is a bit quiet, even at full volume, due to the speakers being on the bottom of the laptop.
SerenaH –
I love this. It’s light and sleek, very fast, and the picture is outstanding. I’m really happy I got it.
SamP –
first time buying a LG Gram 17 Laptop. I just love it.
LindaB –
It is so light and easy to transport and easy to use.
CharlesM –
I love this laptop. Bought it due to great Consumer Reports ratings and it doesn’t disappoint. In fact, I like it so much, I bought a second identical one a month after this purchase!
EricL –
Loving this computer, it has the speed and easy you’ll want
jazy –
The computer is excellent and the graphic are amazing. I love that it is super light and sometimes a forget that I have a lab top in my back pack.
