I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. Unboxing it was a breeze and made my day that much easier. Probably my favorite thing about this projector is that it is Bluetooth enabled so I dont have to have a thousand cords running to the projector or have my media center anywhere close to it honestly. I have the power cord and one hdmi cord ran to it and everything else is bluetooth for us. One thing that I wish was an option on this projector was Hulu streaming services. While searching the store for it, its not listed anywhere to be able to add it to this projectors apps . I dont have cable and use only streaming services so that is a downfall for me. I have my projector hooked up to a surround sound receiver which sounds amazing. If it wasn’t hooked up to it, I use just the speakers in the projector itself which are of great quality. Very loud and good sound. It doesn’t get distorted at all when at maximum volume. The picture quality is breathtaking. The remote is really responsive so long as you are pointing in the direction of the projector itself. There are 2 viewing lenses for it and without the remote being able to see those, it goes a little wonky. The cursor on it is very responsive. I love it. Overall its a 10/10 rating from my family .

Setup was quick enough. At first glance, with some ambient light, I was extremely impressed. I have been using it mainly for movies, and the color is truly excellent. The color is what makes this LED projector shine. This LG projector delivers both 4K and HDR. There is a built-in speaker that is decent. Bluetooth is available to connect external speaker or wireless headset LG’s WebOS is integrated just like their TV’s. The magic remote is just that. Magic. I really like the motion control cursor and the smart features of the projector providing you with built-in apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Another great feature here is how QUIET it is! A noisy projector can be annoying and distracting while watching movies, this is a definite plus that it is quiet. The connectivity options available in the projector are great and include HDMI, USB, USB C (you can connect your smartphone), LAN, and optical audio.

I rarely write a review. But this projector was such an excellent product that I feel I have to! Not only the color, picture quality is top notch, the smart TV app by LG is wonderful. Integrating with many popular apps, Alexa and Google assist, it automatically recognize my media server at home, and play the pictures on my Synology server effortless. The magic remote is amazing. HDMI ARC with atmos. Countless nice features… This is one of my best purchases during pandemic.

Amazing just amazing projector, already have an oled tv from LG but having 150 inches of screen 4k and considering is only 1,400 you can’t compete with that. Specially cause this projector has all you need, wifi, bluetooth, apps, super controller and that just something other brands don’t have.

This has been a great projector. We are using it in place of a TV. It is harder for little ones to break a mounted projector than a large screen TV, we have learned by sad experience. 🙂
My only wish was that this LG projector would have had the same Apple compatibility (automatic screen mirroring of an iPhone) and Chromecast, as our old LG TV did. I’m not sure how easy it is for additional providers to get Apps in the LG store, but I wish there were applications for Sling and BYUtv, for example. So, it hasn’t eliminated the need for our Amazon Fire Stick for those extra apps.
Of course, it would be great if it were brighter and we didn’t have to dim the lights and drop the shades as much at some times of day, but this was our price range we were willing to go to.

I bought this projector back in November 2020 and at first, it was great, but after buying a PS5 and using the 4K HDR, it began to overheat after about 30 minutes of playing. The projector is located in my basement in Michigan, where it is relatively cold (below 70 degrees) at all times. After about a month of this, it began to overheat after less than 10 minutes. As of this week, it will overheat without even using the 4K HDR with the Nintendo Switch and didn’t give a warning that it was bout to overheat, which it had done in the past.
This is a gigantic red flag and led me to sending the product into the manufacturer to get the issue corrected.
If you planning on playing video games in HDR, this is not the product to do it on.

Picked it up on a sale for fifteen hundred, and I don’t know why I waited to upgrade to 4k. It looks pristine at 125″ as long as light levels can be controlled. Any extra light completely blows out any HDR content. However, HDR content looks amazing on this projector when you can get it almost perfectly dark. Tested it with Love, Death, and Robots and it was like watching a different show.
Very quiet, would recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their setup and wanting to save on electricity costs. The LED uses almost half the power of my old projector.

I returned this projector because it (does not have 3D function).
I tried it because it is a (wonderful 4k Projector with a relative price) could be better but (comparing quality with the others the price is not so bad)…(the colors are beautiful)..I tried to use the LG hu70lab but (i love 3D movies) and all my family and friends is also a real attraction when we get together to watch 3D movies.
i have thirty movies in 3D Blu-ray i got them very easy and cheap, i want to buy a lot more. I’m waiting for the best buy to launch the BenQ TK700STi for sale.. this projector has 4k and 3D I’m anxious to be able to buy it here.. because on the manufacturer’s website it’s sold out.

I’m sure it will be even better against a projector screen but I’m very happy with how it turned out on just my blank wall. Will be saving the money and not purchase a screen for this. I searched for days until I became exhausted to purchase my first projector because I have no personal experience in determining which one would be best for my price point. I stumbled onto this model and boy am I glad I did. The picture quality is outstanding and all of the added inputs and LGs WebOS interface was the icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed trust me! I also purchase an Elite projector screen which brings out the colors and clarity even more with this already outstanding projector. I will never ever purchase another television again! I finally have the home theater I always wanted .

I really like this Ultra 4K HD projector. Crisp picture quality, the unit comes with audio as well . As a family we all love this LG projector setup in my home theater room in basement. Even my son’s friends have become a big fan of watching shows on this unit . Highly recommend if you’re not willing to spend way too much money but still enjoy movie experience at home .

The brightness is perfect for dark room. The picture quality is good and crisp. It’s easy to navigate across different options and without any delay in response. One drawback is the lens laid on side of projector which needs to mount the projector to right side of the room than centre.

My previous projector lasted 12 years. This one beoke at 2. It would send a meemssage that the projector was iverheating and then it would shut down. Took ot to get it repaired and they tell me it cannot be repaires. So it will have to go in the trash I guess. I read there are many posts in the web from customers eith the same problem. LG should recall these unites

About one month in and find this projector excellent. I have it connected to a solid sound system and make good use of streaming movies on my living room wall. I did get this on sale (around 30% off), so note my evaluation of value is based on that price.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I installed this projector in my family room with 100” screen and because of my ceiling pitch, lighting, and stud location I had to mount it a few inches off center giving a slight trapezoidal effect on the screen. Simple enough fix with Keystone adjustment right?? WRONG!!! This projector does not have horizontal Keystone Correction!!! Only vertical as confirmed with LG product support. This is a basic feature included on even the cheapest projectors, there’s no excuse why one at this price point doesn’t include it. I asked if a firmware upgrade could be pushed to help correct the issue and their response was move the projector or buy another unit priced at nearly $4000.00 that has the horizontal keystone correction included. I could not believe my ears! It’s got a decent picture but sadly this really takes away from it. This projector will work great in a perfect environment but anything else be advised it has NO wiggle room whatsoever. Please don’t waste your money!!!

Overall great projector. Picture is clear which is the most important thing for me. WiFi connection is a great feature, being able to stream Disney plus directly from the projector is nice. Install and setup took only a couple minutes.
Cons: needs more apps, I don’t see why they can’t have Hulu, hbo, nba league pass, and other streaming apps available directly on the projector. The cords are big and difficult to hid/cover, especially with a ceiling mount projector. It doesn’t offer screen mirroring. For a smart projector that doesn’t offer the majority of streaming apps directly on the projector, I’m shocked they wouldn’t have a good screen mirroring setup.
I’d recommend to friends, but would also recommend researching other projectors for these features I never thought to look for but realize I’m disappointed it doesn’t have.
