    Replaced a 30+ year old window unit with this. Of course this one is much quieter and much more efficient. Has nice features and seems to do a good job cooling the area.

    Installation was a little longer than l wanted almost 4hours by myself also bought a bracket to help hold it up ended up not using it there was some heavy duty brackets inside that worked just fine overall cools fast and very quite

    What an amazing air conditioner! Had a GE equivalent that broke two months into owning it. This AC cools my entire first floor of about 700 square feet with no problem.

    This LG 800 Sq Ft, 14,000 is perfect for my 900 Sq Ft 1 bedroom apartment. Its very quiet. It hums, Mmmmmmm! like white noise. But you’ll know it’s on and working, because you will need a sweater in minutes. Brrrrrrrr!
    I had it installed with Best Buy “Total Tech”. Professional team. Which included the Haul-A-Way of my old unit.
    (Very Loud). It cools the kitchen, bedroom, bath, hallway, from it’s Living Room window location. 30 mins and I turn off, and enjoy the coolness. The savings in use will make you happy too.

    Bought this unit after much research thru consumer reports and online blogs. It is MUCH quieter than the other window units I have owned. The fan is actually very efficient and powerful. Even on low fan speed, it can easily cool a large room, or in my case, most of my house (have a smaller one for the computer room on the other end of my home). The installation takes some effort, but if you follow instructions, you can get it done in a couple of hours. I have NO regrets with my purchase. And as a bonus, it’s smart. You can set it up to integrate with the LG ThinQ app and Alexa (though I do not use the Alexa integration, yet). The setup can be tricky, so you have to read carefully and follow directions, but once it is done, you can remotely check indoor temps, turn on your AC, or even schedule run times with your smartphone! I whole heartedly would recommend and buy again. LG makes some great appliances!

    BEST A/C on the market, check CR don’t take my word. Anyway, easy install and don’t forget additional flexible foam weather seal. Going to need at least 40″. On high setting clocking in at a little over 55db. I was able to find on THE tube a dude explaining how to window install. Hard to believe a huge company like LG did not provide links for a window install.

    So far so good. This brand mops the floor with GE Air conditioners. I purchased a 14000BTU AC FROM GE originally and after just 3 months, the AC stopped working. It’s literally useless. Money wasted. I actually liked the AC despite some minor issues I had with it.

    Fast forward 6 months later I decided to try another brand. I basically wanted the best AC with a 115 volt outlet. This is definitely it. I had issues connecting it to Alexa originally but now it works flawlessly. This AC cools up my entire living room plus dining room area by itself. Extremely powerful AC. But here’s the best part. The app is flawless. Zero issues. This thing is so quiet, I can’t believe it. It’s more silent than my 8000BTU AC from GE I also have. If I could go back, all my ACs would be from LG. I don’t think I have anything negative to say about this unit.

    I love that this connects to my home Wi-Fi and I can turn my air conditioner on when I’m coming home from work to get my room Nice and cool. Best Buy total for the win because Best Buy installed it for free. They even helped me set up my air conditioner to work with Alexa. Very happy with my purchase, my electric bill has even gone down!!

    It took me over an hour to get it installed. When I turned it on, there was very loud clanking that sped up as the unit powered up. Had to pay $13.00 to return the unit via ups.

    Some damage to the unit, but it was minimal. The unit itself looks good and functions as expected, if not better than. I would give the unit itself 5 stars, but can only give it 4 currently due to the damage that it arrived with.

    you may think it is stupid to have on smart phone a/c control. you wrong! – excellent unit so far. large sturdy filter, strong unit and silent. even for small rooms i will recommend, because your air will be clean and temp confortable.

    Good AC wall unit. Cools my duplex of 750 square feet. If the unit is off, the duplex takes longer to cool down in the day. It is easy to install and easy to use. Worth the money. In this hot summer.

    Had a different brand and it was so much louder. This unit is so quiet! Takes a little more initial setup than just setting it in the window seal and dropping the window down. But it is so much more secure in the window. Ill be replacing more of my window units as they stop working with these LG units.

    Best purchase ever, actually cools the living room and kitchen. I use to have a 10,000 btu unit, and would never cool the living room. With this one i have to turn it down because it gets cold. Super silent no rattling or shaking.
