I love my new dryer however the info under specifications said the liquid propane conversion kit was included and it was not!
so we had to purchase one online wait for delivery then another 3 weeks for Best Buy to come out and install the new part, ( they should have brought a part but thankfully we had received our order and they used our part) Then Best Buy charged us over $200. To install this part.
Since the specs said the part was included it should have given us a box to mark for PROPANE then it should have come installed.

I had a hard time getting this dryer hooked up as the water line they gave me that taps into the washer’s line was awfully short but after purchasing a bit longer of a water line, the dryer works great. Using it is easy and it’s nice that it can alert my phone when it’s done in case I’m on the other side of the house and don’t hear it.

We have owned this dryer for about two months now. With a Large family she runs a lot during a week. So far we have had no issues at all. It dries clothes much faster than our old dryer and runs very quite. Nice large machine for washing larger items.

We bought the washer and dryer together. I have been using them for a month. Love it. Good size, they can hold a king size light comforter, They are quiet too.

The user interface is really poor. If you want your cloths to be fully dry every time, you have to manually, press turn the selector button once to put it into manual mode, press the dryness level button twice to change it from “Normal” to “Very Dry” and then press start.
“Normal” is just damp, and I hate it.
On our old dryer, we just set the dryness know, and never had to worry about it.
Pluses –
I really like being notified on my phone when the drying is done.
I also like that it tells me how long it’s going to take to dry.
But all and all I don’t recommend it and would really like LG to pay more attention to the user interface. It’s otherwise a decent, though pricy model. If they every do a software upgrade I’ll update this.

This dryer performs as expected. We just replaced our stackable still-working Frigidaire washer and dryer that gave us 22 years of great service. We didn’t really need all this sophistication with so many different programs, but there were no simpler choices in the market, and it was only a small difference in price between Steam vs. No-Steam. The Steam feature has only been used once, and it’s ok. Being home all the time during this pandemic, the clothes are removed from the dryer right after the cycle ends, thus no need for steam so far. Marginal notes: the controls of the dryer which sits on top of the washer, seem pretty high for a 5’2” person, but i have gotten used to it. And yes, the dashboard does not have a back light and that is a bummer. My laundry room it’s very well illuminated, though, and that makes it easier to see the programs. Another thing it’s that we did not use the steam dryer kit that came included to connect the water that gets deviated from the washer to the dryer for the steam production, because the hose and the Y connector are all plastic. We purchased a kit that included stainless hoses and brass Y connector to prevent future bursting of the plastic hoses due to water pressure, or leaks due to Y connector being plastic. We recommend this dryer.

Half the time the clothes are still wet after the cycle. I called and CS said that I can’t mix fabrics in the dryer because the lighter fabrics get dry and the sensor turns off the cycle. It makes sense but it didn’t happen with my previous dryer, which also had sensor. Who would have a whole load of jeans, or cotton, or whatever other fabric… I do laundry by colors.
Well, this dryer seems to have a lot of settings that I can’t use because they don’t work. According to CS, I should only use the timed dry option if I want to complete a drying cycle . The bedding setting doesn’t work either. What a waste of money….

The dryer belt broke right after the first year warranty expired. We had to spend $300 to get it fixed. LG has lost our trust and will not purchase a LG appliance going forward. As far as dryer was concerned I am not happy with Best Buy support.

Dries fast. Not sure about the Reduce Static setting which seems to spray more water onto clothes while drying; seems counter-intuitive to the whole drying process. Overall, does what I need it to do. No major problems so far.

We were in need of a dryer because ours had gone out. Gas driers are very hard to find in store in our area and happened to find this one in store as an open box. I am usually not a fan of LG products, but this has been a wonderful dryer so far. Love getting notifications on my phone when a load is done, especially when not in the area to hear the signal on the dryer itself. Many great features also.

Bought a washer and dryer combo 2 years ago, The dryer has been limping along for about 6 months now. It never dried the clothes like it should and now all but two settings no longer work. The two settings that do kinda work require drying a load 2 and 3 cycles. Now in order to have a matching set I either have to buy this again or start over.. Looking at the reviews I am probably better off starting over.
