I love the sensors and all the setting. The clothes are dried perfectly every time regardless of whether the load is towels or cottons or permanent press.

This dryer is a great buy for the price. Super large capacity holds even the largest loads. Sensor dry system could work a little better – even when choosing “more dry”, some items can still end up a little damp. The timed cycles work fine, though, once you get the hang of how much time is needed for the type of load. Lots of cycles and timing options to choose from, so this is a great overall workhorse.

Good looking, functional… clothes are nice and DRY! What can I say… it’s fine. I was looking for the best deal for the money and I think I found it. I’m satisfied, anyway.

I usually don’t do reviews, but I felt like I had to with this one. I wasn’t thrilled about not being able to use my year-old washer and electric dryer when moving to a state with mostly gas hookups, but I was at least happy that the new place had this energy-efficient set. The washer is great, but the dryer is awful! I used Permanent Press for khakis and polos, my husband’s standard work clothes. The dryer takes 10-15 min longer than my electric version: 40-45 min as compared to 30, and it leaves clothes VERY damp and VERY wrinkled. And I only filled the dryer about halfway…I know when it’s full this is more likely to happen. Also, the venting is all newly done, and rental properties must be inspected by licensed professionals before new tenants move in, so we know it was done properly. Natural gas is cheaper here in IL, but it won’t be cheaper if I have to run the dryer much longer! Not happy about this change, and definitely do not recommend it to others.

Great buy for the price. Paid $1165 on sale over labor day wknd for the gas dryer, washer and stacking kit. Free delivery. Looks and performs great. We’ve been using it for the past 5 weeks. No complaints thus far. I would definitely recommend this to someone that wuld like an efficient stackable but doesnt want to pay $1K for each. very satisfied with the purchase

I did my research before buying this dryer through Consumer Reports and they pointed to LG and Kenmore being the top dryers. The price overall was best for LG and I recently bought an LG washer so I knew it would be easy to use. Best Buy also delivered for no charge, so that was a bonus. I love the dryer. The drum is very large and I love that it also has a light on the inside. The dry sensor feature is offered on most dryers, and I am glad for that. I personally don’t need as many features as all the dryers seem to offer, and I am sure that is part of why the cost is slightly higher than I originally wanted to pay, but we will use it for many years. Thank-you.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T PURCHASE ANY LG APPLIANCES, I PURCHASED ONE FROM BEST BUY 08/25/2010 IT IS A LITTLE OVER WARRANTY PERIOD, GUESS WHAT, NO ONE WILL FIX IT, NO PARTS, BEST BUY CAN’T FIX WITHOUT TAKING MORE OF MY MONEY AND LG DON’T CARE. BUYER BEWARE

Do not buy anything from LG! Their products break down fast! Ours broke down after having out dryer for 2 short years. They are expensive to repair because many repair men do not work on LG since the company doesn’t give them manuals! LG has poor customer service and they do not stand behind their products! BUYER BEWARE!!! i highly recomend going with Maytag they are very dependable!!

Purchased this dryer with matching washer about 3 weeks ago. It has been awesome. Quiet, easy to use, and overall works great. Also I’m excited to see the electric bill go down now that we are using a gas dryer. Purchase price a little more than the electric but I think it will pay for itself in the long run. Very happy with performance, and LG offers a great warranty.

Overall, I’m happy with this appliance purchase. Just when did these things get so expensive?!?
