I write this review with a great sense of satisfaction in knowing I purchased this television. Before buying, I was down to the three models for consideration: 1) Samsung QN90, 2) LC CI OLED, and 3) the LG QNED 90. This model was the least expensive (I got it on sale at $1199) and still is amongst the three. I spent two months researching televisions, went to Best Buy numerous times to compare models, and reviewed all available YouTube videos on all models. This television produces an absolutely gorgeous picture. You will have to adjust the settings to your taste, but do ensure that you set LED local dimming to “High” to enjoy the rich contrast. Honestly, I think that too many people will overlook this television in favor of the OLED, but the difference in picture quality is negligible. This set runs my XBOX Series X in crisp, 4K detail at 120 fps, and movies also look beautiful. HDR content is amazing, and the set upscales SD content quite well. I have an LG CX from 2020 and when compared side by side to this television, I can tell you that hundreds of extra dollars for the OLED just isn’t warranted, IMO. Again, an absolutely beautiful television!

Great TV and I was lucky enough to get it on sale for $1200!!!
Dlk210 –
TV is phenomenal and it makes my expectations I have the best of both worlds with a Oled and the mini LED both TVs have Crisp picture with clear visuals. The only thing i didnt like with the oled is the possble burn ins. If your looking for a tv that doesnt happen to then this os the one with great features. If your not a believer then go see it on display before making your decision. As matter of fact its always recommded to see the tv in person before making your choice. LG is a good brand to me.
Djf13 –
Excellent product. Exceeds expectations & great picture

When I purchased this I found this site to set it up.
I could have never done this on my own.

Love the magic remote.
none –
works very well and the picture is great and easy to use
NoFlicker –
I really like this TV. I’ve had it for about a month.
It’s beautiful and this review isn’t even based on the 4k capability because I’ve just been watching cable at HD res. I don’t have the ethernet cable hooked up yet. So, can’t wait to see the 4k shows / movies. But, IMO, it’s a beautiful picture. I wasn’t even looking for a 65″ but, I read the reviews about it – that it didn’t have PWM screen flickering (from what my research indicated). So, that was what really sealed the deal for me. Supposedly, screen flickering is really bad for your eyes.
BOOKIE –
The product is ok but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase it.
Aaron –
I live this TV set!!! I was not ready to go Oled because they don’t get that bright and we have a big window in the room. This TV is picture perfect.
Garry –
I love this TV the picture is flawless sharp colors very crisp. Watching football is like being there.
DaddyWarbucks –
First one came damaged from Shipping and or Factory. Second one has been great. We use on patio so you do have to control glare. But very broad operating ranges (Temp/Humidity) and images quality has been outstanding. Sounds is 25 Watts so needs sound bar in our application.
Bunnaz –
Excellent television. Definitely an upgrade from the LED model slotted below it. Great size and excellent for gaming. The size is just right.
MadMario –
I am a believer in OLED, and own two. This micro LED technology however won me over. It has a fantastic picture, leaving my nanocells in the dust and coming dangerously close to OLED clarity. Very bright screen. Better than average speakers. Extremely thin TV albeit not OLED thin. I am a fan.
Customer –
Great picture, bridges the gap between qled and oled
Nailedit –
Great TV, brilliant picture, built in sound system is well above satisfactory to great. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a TV.
Wendy –
My husband and I have enjoyed the 60″ LG TV. It is definitely has a greater picture than our 6 year old TV. I hope it lasts us at least 10 years.
The delivery and installation was a perfect service. Really polite, knowledgeable, and helpful in understanding our needs.
TotalPackage –
The picture, sound and quality of the television is unequaled. True to life colors and for sports viewers, this is the best!
Ram1990 –
Excellent TV and the employees were friendly and helpful.
srcomfort2 –
This is an excellent TV. Our old one was shorting out when we played our Switch on it so we knew it was time for an upgrade. This TV is hands down a 10/10 TV. Very grateful to have it and the sound and picture are wonderful.
Charles –
Great TV. I purchased this model for a brightly lit room and am happy with it.

I friggin like it a lot. Great picture ,good sound. Awesome for Video Games.
0dan0 –
Great TV! I was going to get the OLED LG but was afraid of the possibility of burn in. So glad I decided to go with this. The picture is insane. First night streamed Moana with the kids for family night, I was blown away! Well worth the money and highly recommend it.
Rusty –
The picture is great. Color has to be fine-tuned to your viewing. The sound is typical for a thin TV. I use a sound bar.
A lot of Apps to play with. It does come with Blue Tooth however you can’t use a sound bar and headsets at the same time. Only the TV speakers can be used the same time as a pair of headphones. This was verified by LG.
Mucca –
Great picture, does not support all apps , remote can be difficult to operate
RayM –
Tv broke 2 weeks after purchase. I went to exchange got another one
Return was ok but I should have been given a discount
TonyC338 –
Awesome LG 65 inch TV. Has a wonderful, clean, clear, and crisp picture. Sound quality is awesome straight oof the box. Even better when paired up with an LG soundbar. Best TV out there for the money.
Kclem –
Great unit at a great price! Picture quality is amazing.
Happy –
This was a great buying experience. The salespeople were excellent and informative.
Murph5424 –
Great picture, very little glare, size is great, don’t love the remote.
AZCactusJumper –
LG – LIVING GOOD – 65 inch TV was an excellent choice as recommended by the Best Buy representative. The additional plug-in’s for USB and other devices are easily accessible. It’s great for watching USB videos and 50 years of family memory pictures. Oh, the LG TV is fantastic with excellent colors and the remote is so easy to use that my 7 year old grand-nephew showed us how to use it in less than 7 minutes.
Nivek –
Love this TV. The picture quality is great. Blacks are blacks and the colors vibrant. It is especially great with HDR and Dolby Vision content. I have it hooked up to my Dolby Atmos soundbar through its eARC support and things are great. My only two complaints are pretty minor so I’m not going to deduct a star. First, I’m not to fond of the interface. It might be good if you stream through the TV, but I do everything through my Apple TV and HD blu-ray. I’d like to just turn it on and be able to set the HDMI port and not have its silly interface show up. To be fair, it is worlds better than the Samsung interface. Trying to get it working with my Logitech Harmony and that awful interface was not fun. My other complaint is that it only has two HDMI 2.1 ports and the other two are HDMI 2.0. I don’t know why they didn’t do all 2.1 since they’re backward compatible. Other TV’s in this class and price range are in the same boat. Maybe we can blame it on the supply chain and Covid?
Bottom line, is that I’d really recommend this TV. I did lots of comparison shopping and found that the LG has a better picture than Samsung and Sony. Vizo isn’t even in the same class.
Vickie –
What a gorgeous picture!! We are so pleased. Almost purchased the OLED but I had concerns about the brightness of our room. Also the picture on the display OLEDs looked so dark. The colors on this tv are bright and the black is very black withoit being “dark” looking. I don’t know how any tv picture could be better. We have it set on vivid. There are different picture setting you can chose. We had the tv hooked up to a sound bar so I can’t comment on the tv sound.
Dennis –
picture quality good, sound color and sharpness great
LG65 –
Great picture. Easy to setup.
Had an old 52”, the new 65” is amazing.
Mell –
The picture on the TV is awesome. Looks really good in the living room. I’m delighted.
JD11 –
Overall a very good tv, especially as an open box buy that was nearly 1/2 off retail. Upgraded from an older LG Nano series that used local dimming and the difference in dark picture quality in a dark setting is a night & day difference. There is slight blooming depending on the light dark differences in the image being presented but nothing like the blocks of lighter areas with local dimming.
MrGrey –
Definitely surprised of picture quality Even on standard picture mode the images stand out, sound quality actually nice as well but always better with a matching soundbar.photos below do not do this product justice ,looks so much better in person,Definitely worth the purchase, movies look fantastic as well as gaming on all platforms.
ArmandoM –
Excellent TV for bright rooms. Sharp contrast, deep colors, good functional GUI.
Anonymous –
This screen is great when displaying bright picture and have had people ask me about the TV when they see it.
However, things come undone with a dark picture, especially in a darkened room. Depending on the settings, the TV can either crush low light detail into black, put a white rectangular cloud around bright objects on a dark background or turn blacks grey (or a combination of all three).
Changing settings can get the picture passable, but a dark picture in a darkened room never looks great.
MarjorieF –
Great picture, clarity, sound, the colors are perfect. So happy we went for it!
TaoficM –
I purchased the TV and picked it up at Best Buys at valley stream on Oct 31st at the curb side.when the TV was brought out it was packed already.I asked if the remote and TV leg is included the store associate told me yes.the TV was shipped out to Ghana, it took 6 to 8 weeks for the TV to arrive, when the package was opened it was missing the remote and the TV leg.I called today and i was told by Best buy representative that there’s nothing they can
QuanN –
Good price but the tv had dead pixels. It’s under warranty with LG so I’ll see
DeeDeeRouge –
Best tv to buy. You wouldn’t be disappointed. Its like sitting in the same room as the actors on the screen.
Delcarmen81 –
This TV is pretty good. I like how the images look and how thin it is.
AnthonyR –
Best tv I’ve ever had and after 1 year of use it hasn’t had any problems
JoshuaM –
Bought this open box for over $500 off and I couldn’t be happier! It was great quality and is great for gaming.
Rago –
It works great. Plays all digital formats with great clarity. Found no compatibility issues with the Bose smart sound bar, wireless headphones and HD tv box. I have only noticed minor slowness when it is processing and getting ready to play HDR content. But once the content begins playing there is absolutely no lag or any other issues. For better sound experience it’s better to go with a sound system and link it to the TV. Played content from all types of streaming services and it’s such a pleasant experience. My brain and eyes needed adjustment for the size and video quality of this thing, but now it feels normal. This was an upgrade from 42” to 65” and now when I rewatched my favorite movies again on this, I found that there were so many details that I missed on the 42” TV. I have had it for more than 6 months now and I am impressed by its performance.
TienesMiedoMen –
We chose mini led instead of Oled because we do get a bit of light in the day, and it looks and works fantastic.
TomF –
This TV has a great picture and a lot of options for setting it up.
The only thing I don’t like is the reflection from other light.
I use a sound bar with much better sound.
jorgem1 –
I bought my TV from open box and I got such a great deal. The TV was tested out in Best buy and turned on. Made sure that everything was working. Once I took it home I feel in love even more with what it could do.
