Do more research before getting this machine. It ruins clothes!! I thought if I just gave it time and got familiar with the cycles but NO!! Even on delicate cycle, items have been ruined. Tee Shirts and Sweat Shirts come out with fuzz balls -aka- lint balls -aka-pilling, this wasn’t bc clothes was old, this happened on NEW and fairly new clothes brands like Nike and Carhartt. Don’t just rely on the ratings displayed on the Merchant’s sight. Search the web.

I purchased the washer / dryer set with pedestals in November 2021. I never experienced any issues, and it is working well. I appreciate the savings on the dry cleaners’ cost! I follow the maintenance recommendation, and wipe the excess water the drum after use

I bought this in addition to the matching dryer as part of a Black Friday deal. I was extremely disappointed to find that no matter what I did, the clothes came out extremely wrinkled, even on the lowest spin speed. It came down to the machine being extremely high efficiency, resulting in a high spin speed (to get as much moisture out as possible). The high spin speed absolutely pressed all clothes completely flat against the inside of the drum. They were packed so tightly that you could see small indentations on the clothes from the small holes/screws on the inside of the drum. Ironing, steaming, and just about everything I could find to get the wrinkles out didn’t work. Even on thick denim. Eventually I had to return the washer, which ended up being a completely different nightmare as Best Buy’s customer service was awful.
I got the return set up entirely fine, but the person I spoke to in order to set up the refund lied directly to my face about about how I would receive a refund on everything. Apparently they will only refund you on the unit itself, NOT the hookup cables/water lines that you have to buy separately. I understand that the original installation fee cannot be refunded, but what am I supposed to do with just hookup water lines for a machine that was returned? The crew that picked it up took the dryer electrical cable (also a separate purchase) with them when they picked it up, but I was not refunded. So that was essentially stolen from me. Lastly, there was a $150 promotional gift card that came with the units. I returned the gift card when the units were returned, but the $150 was deducted from my refund. After talking to four different customer service agents over the course of three weeks, they have still not refunded this amount or anything else, despite saying that they would. So ultimately, I lost about $400 out of pocket on the return of this item.
Do yourself a favor and buy a different washing machine. And buy it from a different retailer — at least that way if you need to return it, you won’t have items stolen from you and you’ll likely get a mostly full refund.

I have had several LG products but this set is THE BEST! The cycles are super fast and one touch and away you go! I have washed a king down comforter in it,so the size is not a limiting factor.
This set was much less than some of the other sets. But so far I haven’t found a reason to upgrade.

Got this washer to replace a smaller set that I had pre getting married and having 3 kids. It’s pretty spacious and quick. If you are installing yourself, it’s heavy so getting it up stairs will be a two man job minimum. I also didn’t read the instructions and forgot to remove the shipping bolts. This caused my house to shake and the washer to be all a foot and a half. My kid thought Santa had arrived on our roof! After reading up, and removing the bolts, it’s very quiet. So many options that I don’t know when I’ll get to use them all. Seems to clean a ton of stuff including a king comforter with no problem.

Purchased the LG Washer that was the backup to the LG dryer I bought at the same time. So far, I am enjoying my clothes smelling and looking cleaner than they have in quite awhile. In 2022 I had purchased a different washer (different brand) but was very unhappy with it’s performance. My original dryer was still working, barely, so when it drew it’s last breath I just bought the pair. With one issue I finally figured out (so many options, so little time) I’m very pleased. The immense laundry I have from predominantly my three Dachshunds, my two sons, towels, cleaning rags and more cleanings rags I’m pleased with how they go in the wash ghastly but come out smelling fresh with stains I thought would never come out! We are very pleased with our new LG washer. It does an excellent job cleaning and is much quieter than our old front loader. We like having the TurboSteam option for sheets and such even though that cycle is quite long. The other cycle times are much shorter than before. The only catch is that the finish scratches very easily, so don’t set your detergent bottle on top! Overall, we are very satisfied. Note: our washer is not on the internet and we have no intention of ever using the app. So far that has not caused any problems or limitations for us.
