Child lock directions were poor. Its not clear that the child lock light is not the childock button to unset!!!

So far a solid performer. Preprogrammed cycles are easiest to use, but are long, like 60 minutes. A programmable 35 minute cold cycle would be nice. Would be nice to have the unit remember last cycle.

We bought this washer after our old one went out. It is extremely user friendly and gets our clothes clean! One thing I recently found out is that it alerts me when to run the “tub clean” cycle, which is much easier then me trying to guess.

So far really pleased with this washing contraption. Though we had a broken/non-functioning one for 6 months prior to buying the new one, so my perspective may be a bit skewed. I’m just really grateful to be able to do laundry again. Haven’t attempted any of the fancy functions like the remote start (because I can’t figure out why I would ever need to), but all the basics work really well.

Too much noise and vibration for the entire spin cycle. Did the troubleshooting and reached out to LG. Not able to resolve. Doesnt happen all the time but frequent enough. Since my laundry room is in the second floor its even worse. It seems this model does not have enough settings to deal with unbalanced load.

It’s great! It takes a moment or two to fill the tub but that might just be because how my pipes are set up. I would advise to leave the door open when not in use as front load washers tend to get a musty smell if not permitted to dry out in between washes.

Had to do some adjustments to the closet to get this to fit because it was built for a 2.4 Cu. Ft. machine (condo size). My contractor did a good job so it now stacks with 7.4 dryer.

Scream ch-e-e-e-ap=-p. Bought to replace the LG 2550 set, which, at that time, was inexpensive, selling for about the same price, but was looking much more expensive this this pair. This one is good for a cheap rental property, but not for a main residence. Dryer even does not have an internal light, which is the issue with more expensive LG dryers as well.

Our washer developed a leak one morning, and by the next day we had determined the drain pump was the culprit. We were all set to be travelling within four days and had laundry to do, so we did not have time to repair it ourselves. Two different repairmen said it would cost at least $350 and it would be 3 days before they could get to it. We went online shopping to see what a new washer of the same type and size (since the washer and dryer are stacked) would cost. Once again, Best Buy to the rescue with the same brand and size, but one model better, for $300 more than the lowest estimated repair. Best of all, we picked it up curbside and installed it in two days! Plenty of time to get our laundry ready to travel!!

Of all the luck, on Christmas day our washing machine (12+ years old) decided to stop working. We know we’ve had ir fixed several times recently sonwe decided it was time ro replace it. Decided to go eith this model so it would match our dryer and it was on sale too for a decent price. Got it delievered a couple days later and had the old one hauled off. Very friendly delivery guys. New washer works as expected. Nothing too fancy on it.

This LG washer works great! It is quiet, multiple adjustments available on wash, spin, soil, and temp cycle. Has a pre-wash, delay and 2 extra rinse settings, as well!@ Fits perfect in my older apartment hall closet for being a 4.5 cubic foot washer.
