  1. WSMaine

The absolute worst item I’ve ever purchased. Extremely long cycles even in speed wash 5-8 hours…. and after that none of the clothes are dry. Takes 3 days for one load of laundry for someone who works full time. Waste of money!

  2. Drying

Drying instructions insufficient for effective use. Directions are needed.

  3. PestBuy

I have an LG washer/dryer combo front load. I have had the drain pump replaced 3 times. They are coming out next week for a 4th. Lucky for me it is covered under warranty.

That $35 drain pump is notoriously weak. You can find dozens of videos about replacing LG drain pumps. I can’t understand why LG will not spend $100 to make a better pump for a $2000 appliance. Maybe if enough customers wrote reviews to not buy this washer/dryer combo LG would start to notice their drop in sales?

  4. RoyH

Lint trap doesn’t work worth beans, you’ll be emptying this thing from the bottom trap, that little port you see with tiny saucers every few months, and cleaning your floor.

  5. Alex

Great machine! The ease of not needing to wait until washes to dry is underrated! No more musty smell of clothes left in the washer! This machine is efficient and quite too. The installation was a breeze! Couldn’t recommend it more!

  6. JPPC

Love ❤️ this washer/dryer combo. It makes doing laundry so easy.

  7. Bigrob

It’s a great space saver without losing any quality and capacity. Love it. Great price

  8. RobertH

Really happy with this combo unit. We replaced our old washing machine with this and kept our dryer. Now we have the option to wash and dry in two different machines or we can wash and dry in this lg. People complained about the dry function taking so long and they are correct, it takes a very long time to dry. We use the dry function when we are in no rush. We will put clothes in at night and they will be washed and dried by morning. The only problem that I have found is that the dried clothes will have lint at times. A normal drier will pull that lint out but this unit doesn’t. Something else that could be better is the manual, it doesn’t do a very good job at describing the different modes and functions. For example, I couldn’t find how to run just the dry function. To do that press the power button and then the dry button that is on the display. Press the dry button until you have the option desired and then press start. Turbo dry left the clothes steamy so i wouldnt recommend that unless you are looking for clothes that are nearly dry.

Ever think to yourself “I want to spend $2000 on a washer designed by a development team full of engineers who’ve NEVER done laundry?” This is your chance! Lots of cool theories at work! Ventless! Dryer lint is magically whisked away in the gray water! Nope. Doesn’t happen. This sucker has no lint filter for the dryer. All pet hair, fabric lint, bits of microscopic debris, etc., will be permanently embedded and interwoven in your clothing. Even using a lint roller prior will not help. Meticulous effort with packing tape after drying will lift about 80%. All lint that doesn’t stick to clean clothing sticks to door, door gasket, and interior drum waiting to invade your next load. Best suggestion if you’re stuck with one (like me): run pull your wet clothes, run a cleaning cycle with vinegar, run a cleaning cycle of clean water, dig as much lint out of the gasket as you can, run another cleaning cycle, dry your clothes. Run three more cleaning cycles before adding another load. This washer is only for those with a dry clean wardrobe who only wish to launder seven pair of underwear once per week.

  10. Annie

I was a little scare that the washing and drying process was too long and that I have to pay more in the electricity bill. A medium size load including 2 towels took the same time if it would be a combo. It doesn’t stop once it starts the washing cicle it continues to dry. Don’t worry if you see in the screen timer 7 hours and xx minutes. When the cloth starts the drying cicle indicates the real time it will take to dry. Fantastic buy and cheaper than a combo. Another thing, it uses less water than regular washers. I’m desable and needed a front door washer and dryer. Here you have both in just one equipment. It would not work if it doesn’t have the liquid detergent and finishing product that are ” he” high efficiency

  11. Pollyanna

Got this to save on space in the laundry room (it’s a small house). I like it, but it’s not for everyone. It does take a long time to dry and the clothes are more wrinkled than in the normal dryer, but this doesn’t bother me that much because I like to dry the clothes outside. My process is to dry for 7 minutes to de-wrinkle and then put it on the rack or line outside to finish drying in the sun. I read reviews before buying this all-in-one combo, so I was aware of the drying “problem”. If you like to dry your clothes all the way, this might not be a good choice for you. I dried a load all the way once as an experiment and it took over two hours, maybe more. And the loads need to be light for drying, i.e. you might need to separate your load into two, which would then defeat the purpose. I thought this didn’t make sense as far as the design is concerned. Why design something big enough for big wash loads which you cannot dry?

I’ve had this washer/drier for over a year now and it’s been working well. I do wipe the rubber ring after each load as recommended and hadn’t had problems with clogging (where you have to drain it) as others reported.

I also haven’t had any problems with smaller items being stuck in the ring.

I am not entirely happy with the programming. Some of it just doesn’t make sense. For example, I just loaded my bedding to wash. If you choose “bedding”, it automatically gives you WARM and MEDIUM SPIN, but you cannot add DRYING to it!! So I have to choose NORMAL where I can add drying. DRYING function doesn’t have enough choices for me. You can set it to 30 min to 7.5 hours, BUT you cannot set it to 7 minutes, which is what I need, so a lot of times I just don’t add drying to the cycle and then dry after the wash it done, I go and just start drying as a separate cycle and then set my watch for 7 minutes and stop drying when my watch beeps. The good thing about it being high tech is that I loaded the LG app on my phone and my watch tells me when the wash is done so that I can go and start my 7 minutes of drying right away. Another little thing that’s a bit annoying to me (but def not a deal breaker) is that you have to wait for like a minute for the machine to unlock the door after you press the stop button when you are drying. So again, I have to leave and come back. Little things, but inconvenient.

The bottom line is that I am still glad we got it. Now I have more space in the laundry room for storage and I must say it looks great after having my 20 year old washer in there!

Oh, and by the way, it took 6 months (!!!) for us to get it! I thought Best Buy was absolutely terrible about the logistics. The first spot was in August and I took a day off to make sure I was at home and they called me at 5 PM to tell me that they didn’t have it!! Then they rescheduled for September and this time I called a week before to make sure they have it and they didn’t have it! This continued tinged until December, when I called me and said that they were going to deliver on New Years Eve!! I thought “seriously? We have to deal with this in New Year’s Eve?”, but I thought we’d better take it because who knows when they would deliver next, so they ended up delivering like at 11pm!! I kind of felt bad for those young guys. Their truck broke down, so they delivered later than the scheduled 9pm, which I also thought was really late for a delivery, especially on New Year’s Eve!! At least I got it, so was happy to have it on that day!!

  12. flmgrip

    great!

it takes a long time to wash/dry but perfect for a 1 or 2 person small living space household. throw the laundry in in the evening. washed and dried in the morning!

  13. NoraH

The machine washes pretty nicely, but the drying isn’t like a gas dryer. Clothes are still damp after drying.

  14. WandaF

The manual does not have specifications for the dryer. the dryer is more complicated to use since it dries according to the type of clothes.

  15. David

For smaller spaces or apartment, condos & homes with additional stories and or if you dont have gas lines.

  16. LarisaA

works great, it washes and dries pretty quickly you dont need to wait 8 hours.

  17. TramyQ

I love it, save more space for our store! Love it! But taking more time for dryer’s

  18. Firn

It washes and drier pretty good. Sometimes the drum bangs against the casing and it can be a little loud, but it usually stops itself and resets of it does it a lot.

  19. TaViViTo

So far it’s working great. Simply it is great that this machine washes and dries; “all in one”. You can dump all your laundry and start this before going to bed. Next morning, all done (both wash and dry). Now you don’t have to move between washer and dryer. No chance of wet laundry sitting in the washing machine for days… Perfect.

  20. DouglasD

Needs 0 star ratings. Broke 1 year to the day from purchase, but only 9 months from installation! It says right on the front that the motor is warrantied for 10 years yet LG won’t even let you file a claim. Complete waste of money and I wish I hadn’t bought any of our LG products.

  21. AngieP

The best wash/drier that I had bought it. I loved it.

  22. Sabrina

I bought this washer/dryer all-in-one to make more space as we have or washer and dryer in our kitchen area. That much it definitely accomplished.
    Pros-
Some reviews I have read complain of drying power, but thus far, ours has dried things adequately, the only exception being perhaps bedding and towels, which is still ok.
I installed on wooden floors and took care to level it precisely, and vibrations have not been a problem, even without the extra vibration footings.
The machine is much quieter than our previous conventional models.
It thus far (6+months of use) washes adequately. The clothes come out fresh and clean.
It does take some time to cycle, however this is not a big deal for us.
We have not noticed a disturbing increase in humidity, which some buyers complained of.
    Cons-
The one biggest design flaw to this machine is that it lacks a lint collection system of any kind. It’s not that the clothes come out with lint on them (thankfully), but rather that the door, and the rubber seal around it, tend to collect a large amount of lint that must be wiped out with a wet paper towel or by hand every other cycle or so. Even this wouldn’t be as much of an issue save for the fact that the rubber sealing ring has folds in which the lint collects. This is the machines one major design flaw in my opinion.
Most things washed *will* come out very wrinkled. The main way to combat this is to remove whatever has been cycled immediately after it finishes so that the articles are still nice and hot, which seems to help somewhat.
The last downside to the unit is sort of opposite to what others complain of- it dries almost too hot, and I get the feelings that it may have potentially shrunk some of our clothing, though not drastically, still worth a mention. So the drying, while adequate, is a bit tricky.

Overall I’ve been very satisfied with the machine. It’s attractive, slick operation and space saving quality make up for the minor (to us) deficiencies.

  23. Unknown

Excellent product with great quality and easy to use

  24. MyraC

We had the same brand for 12 years old. It was time to replace it. We decided to buy the same brand. Love this machine. Washes and dries very well. Wish I had bought sooner. Has more features than my other machine.

  25. Ilene

Im a senior and prefer to have main floor laundry so i dont have to carry laundry up stairs.
All-in-One is perfect size for a closet near bedrooms and bathrooms.
    Easy install, 110v, and ventless.

  26. WilfredoD

WARNING!!! This is product is junk. Does not dry clothes and both LG and Best Buy won’t honor warranty. STAY AWAY!!!

  27. Shorty

This is a fantastic option for your home, washing and drying all in one. No need for dryer vent

  28. TheCoolKatie

Great machine. LG bought this design from Kenmore where it was fully developed and tuned over the years. Runs for a longer time, but is gentler on your clothes and is more energy efficient (heated air is recycled vice vented outdoors).

  29. NorizafeL

Not sure yet i will update soon
I buy this including everything the parts but when they delever is incomplete. How i install not complete i buy the parts complete and I remember i pay for the installation. Why i buy if not complete? Is not make sense how to install if the parts not included ? I click everything but when they arrive so much disappointed.

  30. AlberysA

I just loved it best investment ever, know I can’t wash everything

  31. Dennis

Washer Well. Dryer is not feasible, needs something like GE’s heat pump tech.

  32. Myworld

I but this item for my self and my friend ask what I think and i told him that is the best

  33. KathleenM

So great to have one machine that washes and dries. It does take a while to dry but I’m okay with that.

  34. Hele

Washer is great size, great capacity, however it won’t fit the needs of my family of 6, we were told at the store that this type of appliance washer/dryer is more suitable for an apartment or small house with 2 ppl

  35. EverardoD

is an amazing machine works soft, and dries properly, makes an appropriate calculation for the amount of clothes you want to wash.

  36. LeviLy

Brand new unit. 1st time using it, machine set a fault dryer heater malfunction. Call customer service! Wow poor quality control

  37. Elmo

So far is the best machine we got it does everything and it works automatically we can leave our clothes from the day before and it will be ready the next morning

  38. Sandi

I purchased my 1st LG All-In-One in 2005. I thought it was the best invention ever, yet they have managed to improve it. This model is even quieter and the steam dryer is to die for! Everything comes out wrinkle free. Yes, it takes longer than a conventional washer & dryer, but this gives you the convenience of never having to transfer the wash to the dryer. The app is amazing. It allows you to start the wash remotely and texts you when it has been completed. Even my 23 year old is enamored with it. I recommend getting the base so you don’t have to bend over to load/unload. I will never go back to a separate washer and dryer.

  39. KarenW

Clothes came out a wrinkled mess no matter what setting it was on. I returned it immediately! Bought the GE, much better!

  40. Tiffy

Really like this product, which saves on detergent and time on unloading the washer to move clothes from the washer to the dryer.

  41. StephanieM

Best purchase I have ever made. It has made life so much easier throw a load in before bed or before work and if you need me, I can restart it to flush it before I come home.

  42. SherylG

If a 10 was possible, that is what i would give this all in on combo washer/dryer.

When my washer and dryer went out, i started researching combo machines. Because my system had been vented to my garage..yuck! This machine being ventless was the ticket.
It is really great to not have to move wet cloths from one machine to another. Love the 1 and done with a load.

The down side would be that you need a well vented location..which we have.

I have read rhe reviews that it takes forever to dry, i have not had that issue at all. You can dry with what come with the setting or you can add time if the load is large than it should be.

I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

  43. Yosandy

I had this and love it, it works very good and i can conect it to wifi and track by the phone

  44. Tony

I’ve had this washer about 6 weeks now. Very pleased with the product. Machine does an excellent job of getting tough stains out. It can be a bit noisy during operation, we just close the door to the spare bathroom where we have the machine.

  45. AustinH

It works well always comes out clean, but 4 hours to was and dry!

  46. MilagrosH

Best purchase ever, It does take some time to dry but it also depends on the amount of clothes you put in.

  47. MaryB

    Still haven’t received it
    Product is back
    Ordered again

  48. Rick

Perfect machine for our changing needs. I wanted a washer and dryer upstairs but only had room for one unit. I didn’t want to lose cleaning quality nor did I want to run a new 220v line so we opted for this model and have not let down one bit. Dry cycle takes a bit longer but the benefits outweigh the time difference. If you do loads before bedtime or as you head out somewhere you will never notice. It just requires a little pre-planning. Simply love not having to run up and down stairs for laundry anymore. Love this unit it is a great value to us.

  49. KenD

We purchased LG front loaders washer and dryer combination. They are the WM4370HKA 4.5 and matching dryer. We purchased the Geek Squad Warrenty with them as well. They have been nothing but trouble. We replaced Whirlpool front loaders. They have ruined clothes. Left discoloration in them. They error all of the time. We sent photos to LG trying to recover some of our loss. We have had the repair people out close to double digit time. We have had them replaced with a new set, thinking that we had a lemon. We were told that it could be our water even though the old set worked well for years until they died. Now it shows a OE error. They were expensive and are still under Warrenty. We are tired of them and tired of Best Buy. The repairman once suggested that we fill a bucket and add water to the tub mid cycle. If there was a rating lower than one star, I would choose. It.

  50. CatherineK

I haven’t received this product yet. Still waiting…..
