    We purchased the cook top to replace the Electrolux we put in during our remodel about five years prior. This unit has preformed beautifully it was installed 18 months ago and we have had no issues. Light years better than Electrolux. Controls are easy to use and very precise. Looks great after 18 months. We’re now looking for an LG wall oven to replace the Electrolux.

    Love, love, love our new 30″ LG Cooktop (LCE3010SB) purchased this month at Pacific Sales/Best Buy in San Bernardino, CA. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, has bright lit easy to use SmoothTouch (knob less) controls, and looks awesome in our granite counter. Thanks to Anissa Garcia, it was delivered a week earlier than expected. Excellent Customer Service.

    We bought the unit on 12/30/19 but finally got it installed by Best Buy this past Saturday on 1/18/20. We had an electrician install new 6/3 gauge wire and 50 amp breaker per installation guide to make sure there was no issues. Now after just a few days we could not turn off the unit. It became unresponsive while it was still on!!! I had to reset the unit by flipping the breaker off/on. The user guide has no troubleshooting for if the unit touch screen buttons do not respond. This is super disappointing after spending $2000 for the cooktop and electrician!! And off course now that it is installed it is showing in our BestBuy account that it is none returnable! Buyer beware! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

    I really like this cooktop’s appearance, function, and operation. It is everything I was hoping for. HOWEVER, the touch controls occasionally become unresponsive. You either cannot turn the unit on or you CANNOT TURN THE UNIT OFF. That’s right you may have elements on at high temperature and not be able to turn them off or down. The controls just do not respond to any touch. I have had a technician out twice to replace each of the two electronic components in the cooktop, and the problem persists. The last time the technician was called he reported to LG that the unit could not be repaired (there was nothing left to replace). Now I have been calling LG for about a month trying to get them to replace the unit. However, they keep giving me a runaround saying they need a report from the service technician, or they need more time, or they need my receipt (which they had and which I resent to them). I have spent several HOURS on the phone with LG Customer Service usually talking to someone that I can barely understand. Every call the whole process seems to start over.
    Don’t buy this unit, it is UNSAFE. Imagine your kids or grandkids cooking something and then the controls will not turn off the burner. Who know what they would do, but it sure seems like a recipe for fire or injury.
    I have looked at the reviews on several different sites and this problem seems to be common and LG seems to be unwilling to respond with a fix or replacement.

    We love the size of this cooktop and the ability to actually have 3 large pans on it at once. We could never put more than two large pans on the range cooktop and then could only use small pans for the other two burners. We were a little concerned with not having any actual controls knobs, but have grown to really love the touch control feature as well.

    Takes getting used to. You must hold your finger on control longer than expected. Cumbersome to raise and lower heat. Our cats can turn it on by walking on it so use of child lock, should say pet lock is mandatory. Does heat quickly and we like the choice of dual or triple coil use.

    Overall the product works well. The buttons can be hard to push or find the right location on the on/off switch. Child lock is a great feature since we tend to lay things on it a lot. Heats fairly quickly. Noise indicator is also good when turn off the stove to let you know it is completely off and cooling.

    This is the second cooktop we have received… the first one was taken out by lightning in a storm in May 2021. This is an Excellent cooktop… this is why we got the same one. We love everything about this cooktop!

    So happy to have received our LG electric cooktop. We already had one in place and I dropped a glass jar on it accidentally and it splinted so a new one was needed. This is the only one that fits our opening so we were lucky and so glad to get it!

    Indispensable tool in the home kitchen, well designed and efficient. Spacious for good comfort when cooking. The largest burner in the center has the ability to select three heating areas allowing you to match the heat to the size of the pot you are using and not waste energy. Good job LG.

    Hate this stove. Takes forever to heat a pan or anything and if you spill anything, even just drops of water, it’s like scrubbing grease off of an ice cube. Ridiculous waste of $1,000. If I could give a minus 10000000000 stars, I would!!

    I love all of the features on this cooktop, I am however not crazy about the finish on it. I thought it was damaged. It looks like bubbles are on the finish. I would have preferred the finish to be a smooth finish. However, I love the fact that this is smooth to the counter top, there are no knobs but the buttons , heats quickly & has child lock on it. Only down side is the steps you have to take to turn it on. You have to hit the power button 1st, then select the burner you want and if it’s a dual or triple burner you have to hit the button one or 2 more times and then select how high you want the heat…it’s a long process lol but I do like it 🙂
