    Bought this as an upgrade to an older French door unit from another manufacture. The craft Ice was also really cool. What they do not tell you is the craft ice takes 24 hours for 3 or you can turn it up to a whole whopping 6 balls of ice in 24 hours. Plan ahead for any whiskey parties if you intend to use it for more than one person drinking alone.

    I love my new LG refrigerator! My daughters love how the ice maker below makes “balls of ice”. They tell all of their friends about it.
    I actually like having the app send me alerts when filters need to be changed or if anything is wrong with the fridge.

    Wife is in love with the Fridge!! I know it is expensive, but it is worth it if it last. We have put a lot of food in and it has held temperatures great. The bottom freezer conceded us with storage, but there is a lot of space and even the extra shelf helps with smaller flat items. The fridge is also VERY quiet, I never hear it running, only when the craft ice balls fall into the tray.

    The knock door led doesn’t work, it doesn’t make the sounds on the display and there’s no water coming out of the dispenser. bought as open box with a scratch on the side and working 100%.

    Great looking with a large amount of storage. I love the versatility of the shelves and having access to condiments/beverages via the outside door works great for our family. The freezer is generous in space and the two shelves allow storage of large platters.
    The craft ice cubes are also a huge hit!

    Great Refrigerator. A couple of the shelves could be a little more wider. Water/Ice dispenser is a lot tight for larger bottles. Overall maintains good temperature and easy to use.

    I was really, really expecting to love this fridge, but I just don’t. The round ice balls (in the bottom freezer) are cool, but not enough to make up for the lack of ice made by the main ice maker in the door. We are a small family of 3 individuals, if all 3 of us get a glass of water with ice, it’s completely out and we have to wait until the next day. If you like ice in your cold drinks, keep looking.

    This fridge is pretty awesome. Totally worth taking out cabinets and cutting the counter shorter to fit lol. But, we also got it open box for a third of the price with a 5 year geek squad. If I had the money, I’d buy it at full price though.

    I love our LG – 29.7 Cu. Ft. French Door-in Door. All pro comments for me. The consistent temperature control in the door panel is awesome for frequent snack and drink accessibility. Space for both sections is more than adequate. Totally happy with our purchase.

    I have an earlier version of this refrigerator now just 5 years old. For the first 4 years it worked fine. Within the last year I have replaced the evaporator, the compressor, the freezer fan, and a sensor. I like the capacity and dual ice-maker so much I was willing to invest in replacement parts hoping they were superior to the original parts. This wee, the freezer fan and evaporator went out yet again. I refuse to invest more money when you can’t get parts that last.

    I will never buy another refrigerator made by a South Korean company as Samsung quality is just as bad.

    Craft ice for the past year has stopped working. All we’re getting is a full container of solid flat ice, like the system is leaking and then it freezes.

    I love this fridge!! It holds a lot of items, the spill proof shelves are great for containing messes, the cons are the doors hold hardly anything. I love the round ice cubes, everyone is amazed when I show them the ice cubes and the knock & light up feature on the door.

    Love this fridge. the water tasted funny at first but I think it was because I didn’t screw on the water filter all the way. Or it might have been fixed by me tapping it on the counter. Pretty sure it wasn’t screwed on right. The shelf that pushes back for bigger items. I just took it out and I have plenty of space for big items now. I’m really happy with this fridge. It’s my favorite thing in the kitchen.

    Have had mine a while now. The door (upper icemaker) has been replaced once, the craft (lower) icemaker has been replaced three times. Compressor failed. Took several days for warranty repair, no parts and limited repair dealer network. The big selling feature on this model is the Craft Icemaker. Well first the ice balls look nothing like the videos and ads, they are mostly cloudy and don’t fill completely. Second, that icemaker failed first, and again and again. I expect it to continue failing once a year or so as long as I own the machine. And I know I won’t be able to afford to keep it outside of warranty or a service contract.

    Purchased the LG – 29.7 Cu. Ft. French Door-in-Door Smart Refrigerator with Craft Ice and InstaView – Stainless steel in August 2022 and already having issues with the ice maker. Last wk a tech came to replace the ice maker and now I’m receiving error message IFE. Buyer Beware!!

    After doing extensive research I realized this was the perfect fridge for me. Not only does it look cool and futuristic, but it also has a number of features to match its looks. Temperature zones allow you to keep your produces, meats, and leftovers at optimal temperatures all in the same fridge. The huge freezer allows you to store a number of things. The dual ice maker gives you 3 options for ice, cubed, crushed or round craft ice. This is an awesome fridge that gets a lot of attention when I have guests over.

    Have had our fridge for a few weeks now, and have been loving all the features. The craft ice isnt completly round, but ia very popular with guests. Lots of room, and the quick access door is a great addition. No issues so far, so hoping the mechanical parts hold up as the fidge gets older.

    I bought this as a closeout floor model for 75% off and it was immaculate nothing wrong with it. It even came with free delivery. The only problem was they canceled the delivery twice, the last time was because they shipped it to a warehouse in another state and couldn’t get it back in time because if snow storms in colorado. I live in utah and only 2 miles from the store i bought it at. Why would you ship a fridge to another state for a 2 mile delivery? In the process the shipping company put a dent and scratches on it…
