Still new to the refrigerator but the install went to crap! Won’t go into all the details but one thing is the dimensions are slightly off and if your hole for the appliance is tight, you should add another 1/4″ at least. I replaced a Samsung with the same dimensions but this had a vent grate and 2 plastic “tabs”, one on each of the back corners, that actually increase the dimensions from what is posted both on Best Buy and LG websites.
Additionally, the doors do not close automatically. The right side is worse about closing so be sure that you are definitely shut before walking away.
So far the refrigerator has worked well but, as with all appliances, there are many features that are not needed and only increase the chance of needed repairs. Most of this is the tech!
We do like the way the doors, drawers, etc., are configured and the ice maker in the left door does give us more shelf room over our previous Samsung.
Because I have to say yes or no to recommend, I will say yes but really haven’t had long enough to make that statement. Time will only tell but so far it is better than the Samsung that has been in turmoil since I purchased it 6 years ago.

Excellent refrigerator with two ice makers insures you always have ice on hand when you need it! If you don’t need both on, you just turn one off! The bottom ice maker makes golf ball size ice balls…you select 3 or 6 balls. These are great for mixed drinks.

This LG French door in door refrigerator is huge!
The new refrigerator is great and with the door in door it makes getting milk, butter and salad dressing easier to get.
It takes about 24 hours to start getting ice but both ice makers work well. The craft ice is slick and it makes the drinks look special.
The water has 4, 8, 16 & 32 oz automatic pours that are spot on from my tests.
All in all the LG seems to be a good purchase for us.

Just got delivery two days ago.My old one /8 years ago/ has much better interior design, doors shelf was perfect size,fit water bottle, this one so small.
Don’t like this fancy ice, 24 hours for 3 balls ice, and not able to change for regular ice. New one and doesn’t work, have to wait 6 days for geek squad to come and check what wrong.

The refrigerator is nice the space on the inside is good but if you want to stand tall things up you are limited. It does have one shelf in the middle on the right side that slides half way in but it still is not enough tall space for me. The shelving on the door is so small that I use them for my six year old juice boxes. If you go three or more days without using the ice it will jam up which I don’t like.

Great fridge poor ice ball maker. Ice Balls come out flat on one side so about 90% round. More importantly the ice ball maker broke in the 1st few months. Service was great and fixed with in a week with very little effort on my end. Rated 3 stars because the ice balls are a key benefit of this fridge.

We’ve had this fridge for just over a year. We love the door-in-door feature for frequently used items. However, we’ve had repeated issues with the ice makers. Overall, the volume of ice in the in-door icemaker is very small and we often run out of ice in the summer, something I’ve never experienced with another refrigerator. The craft ice in the freezer drawer often stops making ice and needs to be reset. The biggest issue is that the in door ice maker has completely failed after just over a year, and the LG warranty is only 1 year and they want $400 to repair it. We will be using an independent shop for the repair and choosing another manufacturer for future appliances.
