This is by far the largest fridge i have bought and it shows when you open the doors up! I can fit almost 2x the amount of produce and food that my last fridge held! Also it makes ice a lot faster than my last fridge! The only thing i am still trying to get used to is the bottom drawer freezer as we have always had the side by side fridge/freezer!

Giving this a 1 start is way to high. This fridge went out on us after 1.5 years. Lost all our food in both the fridge and the freezer (500$)5 days before thanksgiving Not to mention it’s taking 14 days to get any service on it through Best Buy geek squad. I do not recommend this product or their dishwasher or the countertop cooktop stoves or any LG products.

Had a similar LG model that the compressor went out on after 10 years. I was happy with it, so i bought this one as a replacement. It is basically a newer version of the one I had.

It broke at 15 months and even with the Geek Squad protection plan, the repair will take over a month. Groceries trashed and no fridge for a month. Do not buy this appliance. Do not buy a protection plan. Best Buy will not do anything fix your appliance outside of apologizing and offering gift cards.

So far this unit has been quiet and steady. The ice maker isn’t very large but there is ice storage in the freezer. It’s designed to be dumped in to the storage bucket so it makes more ice. We don’t seem to have a need but ,,, the wifi connection is steady and the lg thin q app is nice to have.

This is my second LG French Door fridge. It is a quality unit, don’t get me wrong. But our previous unit had some things this one does not. I prefer the meat/deli drawer that you can access without having to open the main french doors. I prefer the previous layout where the ice used one part of the door system and the water used another. This one you have to press a switch to go between them. I also do miss the outside access see-through door that we had before, but this door IS lighter and it feels like there is more storage where the other system had so much more structure around it. Overall a great unit, I just liked my other one better.

We have had our fridge now for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it. The only bummer is we recently moved and it did get scraped and there really isn’t a good paint choice to fix the scratches that happen on black stainless.

Once you register to LG and use the mobile app , it generated monthly reports of usages that is also great.

Not even a year old and the fridge won’t cool enough for me to feel safe keeping things for any amount of time. Freezer is completely useless…had to buy a deep freezer for my garage to store frozen items u til I could get a new fridge. Won’t make ice or dispense water. And LG had no service people so the only option was to replace it. I went with another brand completely and had to wait 7 months to finally receive it!! Not happy!

Had I known that there was/is an issue with this refrigerator, I would NEVER have purchased it. There was/is a class action lawsuit against LG for the compressors in the model (and others). Apparently, LG knew about them being bad, but sold the refrigerators with them anyway. Lookup “LG linear compressor recall” so that you don’t end up with the same problems/junk that I bought at Best Buy

This is our 2nd time swapping out this fridge, and this one is worst than 1st one. Temperature inside fridge is rarely above 40degrees. Filtered Water is contaminated, so ice & water dispenser is pointless. Really poor customer service responses, and the delivery companies are even worse. So disappointed in the entire purchase.

The refrigerator looks great and has a ton of room. It gets a 2 star for its ice maker. In 9 months I’ve owned it I don’t think it’s ever worked correctly. Ice freezes and stacks up on the right side causing the sensor to be blocked so it stops making ice. This is a nice touch when you forget to break it up before company comes over only to supply two whole glasses of ice. I’ve had it and will be contacting LG for a fix.

Would give 4 1/2 stars if i could just because there are not enough shelf slots to customize height. Also, the one shelf that folds, folds into itself with the slightest nudge so have to keep at 1/2 size to avoid foods falling off the shelf.
Otherwise, love the spze, outside water/ice dispenser. The looks – freezer space. it’s early with regards to reliability but overall am very happy.

It’s been a little over a month since I bought it, but all the ice cream is getting soft. Ice cream continues to be soft even if the freezer temperature is lowered. Technician came after calling Best Buy, but he said there was nothing he could do. What’s the point of buying the Total tech if they can’t fix it. When I called LG, LG said that there is no one who can come from LG company, but they will contact the place connected to the company and send someone to fix it. Everything is so uncomfortable and I regret buying this refrigerator.
