Pure and simple…not enough tines. It’s great that I can remove some but why is there only four rows of tines? What about the center? Inefficient design in my opinion. I have tons of unused space as a result. I ordered without seeing because I was getting a deal on purchasing all LG appliances. Even now, if you look at the photos they post they are careful not to show you that it only has 4 sets of tines on the bottom rack. In addition the bottom rack does not stay in place when pulling out or pushing back. It moves off the “track” constantly. The middle rack doesn’t have the right shape or design as well. If I use it for bowls or small plates there is no place to fit glasses. If I do find room the glasses are not held up at all because of the lack of tines in the right place. It’s pretty, it works but I would never choose it again because it was designed so poorly in my opinion.

It takes three hours to run a normal cycle and it doesn’t dry even a little bit. Everything comes out soaking wet.

i can’t say it’s perfect but it does the job, with several options. you can even ask alexa on time remaining or check your phone using LG Thinq app. Cleans very well and drys depending on your selection of dryness.

LG is a great appliance builder. We’ve bought their Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, and have had their. television. This dishwasher was a replacement for a 15 year old Major brand name dishwasher. Learning the Wi-Fi set it and forget it is nice. The dishes come out very clean and without an extensive rinse off. Sanitizes dishes too. Nice unit.Easy to install too.

We were not happy with the dishwasher to begin with and then this happened. Did not even have installed for 8 months and the dishwasher drain pump failed. Because of supply issues we were told to order the dishwasher well in advance of our kitchen remodel. However the dishwasher came early and the dishwasher sat in our garage for 4 months prior to being installed in our new kitchen. Because we had the dishwasher for 12 months the manufacturer would not cover the drain pump under warranty. Our local repair center wanted 800 dollars to repair plus the 120 for the initial troubleshooting visit. I ended up buying the parts online and fixing it myself. Factory Parts were a little over 300. Strongly recommend no one buys this brand.

Our less than two year old LG dishwasher had the motor burn out. Long story short the parts are under warranty but labor is our expense. We called Best Buy to set up a service call, they won’t order the part without payment ($350.00 part which is under warranty) because they have a hard time getting LG to reimburse them. We would have to pay for the part, the service call, and installation and try to get reimbursed from LG ourselves. If the vendor can’t get reimbursed I don’t have much faith that I would either. We then found a technician from a local company that would work on it, he would need to come out and diagnose it($89)and we would order the part ourselves from LG with a copy of the service call receipt. Not ideal but no other option to not be out $350 and waiting for LG to maybe reimburse us. The technician then discovered the wiring harness was charred as well and said he can’t work on it if it could or has caught fire. The wiring harness is $187.00. We now have no one that will work on the dishwasher and LG refuses to send the parts to our home, they will only send them to a technician which we would have to start all over with service calls due to the wiring harness being charred. So we have paid for a service call and still no parts or a way to fix it. LG ended the chat today when they were asked if we could talk to a manager or someone that could help us. We have been polite and patient through this whole process, we just want a working dishwasher. The technician that did come out said LG dishwashers are notorious for this problem and are known for their horrendous customer service. The positive reviews are likely from those who haven’t had the dishwasher more than a year. Best Buy was no help at all in making this right. I will never purchase another LG appliance or purchase from Best Buy. I feel Best Buy should stand behind the products they sell and at the very least work with LG on warranty calls so the customer isn’t out almost $500 in parts alone on a warranty repair. We are giving up and purchasing a Bosch from a retailer that stands behind the products they sell. Unfortunately, Best Buy will not. LG for sure does not. This has been a disappointing and costly lesson.
