    They do not treat people as valued customers. Best buy sure do not reimburse people for their time or gas spent to purchase these items. If you cancel a purchase online it takes 2-3 weeks to even get your money back.

    Installation is still not complete; I don’t even know if this microwave works. Installers don’t know either. Very frustrating.

    Absolute let down. Just outside of the warranty the magnetron went bad, I replaced it myself with genuine LG parts then about 8 months later the buttons started failing.

    It not only does a great job with many items in it but has a light that shines on the range in different modes, and I am pleased that I have a ventilation system with 4 modes. So it does more than just microwave, it protects your range below with lighting and ventilation. Saves money with buying and over the range fan.

    So pleased with my purchase. This microwave is beautiful, quiet, easy to use, and the best feature is the extended ventilation tray! We love it. Give it 5 stars! The only thing recommended for manufacturer is to make the inside blue/purple color to match their ranges.

    This microwave is so much more powerful than our old one. Takes much less time to cook. Also the easy settings are great. One negative is we have no found out how to turn on the internal light.

    Great microwave, great time saver. I love the fact that we can heat/cook more than one item at a time with the addition of the rack, and the sensor cook feature is perfect for my family who either overheats/boils and leaves a mess, or underheats/cooks and opens and slams the door shut a gazillion times. I personally love the extended vent feature when searing meat on the stove top. It does a great job of circulating the smoke out your way. If you actually take the time to read through the manual for cooking tips, you won’t be disappointed. We’re very happy with our choice.

    So far so good. Easy to use controls. I like the instant 30 seconds and if you press the + button it adds another 10 seconds

    When this item worked, it worked well. Unfortunately, after 3 years the control panel no longer lit up. It still worked, but you never knew how long there was to go on a reheat, or couldn’t use the soften/melt/etc features because you couldn’t see the “screen” numbers.

    Previous owner of a LG OTR Microwave. I really, really liked this unit. I was hesitating to buy it, concerned would it fit as, it was 2.2 cu ft vs. I currently had a 1.9 cu. ft. Purchased the item brought it home and read reviews on the installation to give yourself enough clearance between the stove top and door opening. This one had to be returned as it is too big.

    This is a beautiful appliance. It looks great in our kitchen and cooks great – and evenly. I have two main gripes about this microwave: (1) It is very difficult to see the food when it is cooking. There is an interior light that stays on while cooking, but the shade on the door itself (the tiny black dots) almost fully cover the glass, so you can’t see your food while it is cooking, i.e. cheese sauce boiling over. (2) It would be so much easier to use if the keypad was backlit. I typically keep the lights dim in our kitchen and sometimes find myself using the flashlight on my phone to see the keys.
    The extendable tray for the fan works great and the product itself is solid.

    This is the second microwave that is exactly the same model as the first one. First one lasted 10 years with some rough use. The movable front fan makes the steam from the stove underneath goes where it needs to go not up the microwave glass.

    Geek squad say whole door needs replacing. Wish I had not bought this.

    Horrible product. 1st one went out and I had it replaced under warranty. I forgot to get a new warranty for the replacement microwave. Now, 3 months past the 1 year mark, the replacement is not working.

    Lasted 5 years. 10 years is normal for a microwave. Appliance repair guy said “It’s a paperweight now” and recommended that I DO NOT buy another LG product. Anybody reading this – now you know so don’t go buying this and lamenting your purchase later. Stay away from this product, and per the appliance repair guy – the whole brand!
