We needed to replace our old W/D and wanted something that actually fit into the small closet for laundry. Our old one stuck out significantly. While we miss the capacity of the old one, we really like the size and form factor of these for our current needs. It’s whisper quiet for most of the cycle and does a nice job cleaning the clothes. There was a very minor defect out of the box where the indicator light was malfunction on the cycle selecting dial. BBY came out and replaced the unit in a couple days.

Washing takes longer than my previous appliance which was 20 years old. These machines also seem to require more maintenance. Unfortunately, this washer and the accompanying dryer were not available in the showroom of my local store. Had I been able to see them and research more their operations on site, I probably would have chosen something else.
Doing laundry with these appliances may be sold as smart but they turn a regular chore into space science and a project. Laundry is neither!

Rating washer 3 stars based on price and noise. Because my hallway laundry closet is not deep enough to accommodate the very large, deep washers made today, there is a very limited choice. It has always been annoying to me that the majority of appliances today for homes in the USA have to be made in such large sizes. As a result, the limited choices mean much higher prices. This washer does a great job washing, easy to use, but you don’t get the little cup to add bleach like you do in larger washers. And, the washer is very loud and has strong vibrations. My laundry closet is on my second floor and I can hear the washer when I am outside. I can also feel the vibrations throughout the front of my house. Too late and too inconvenient to return. But again, I had limited choices due to appliance depth.

This dryer has leaked since it was installed in July. BestBuy would not look at it. I was told it was installed incorectly. I would buy from a local company that will install correctly.

I was very happy with this washer, however soon after I started using, I realized low laud noise such as dwoon dwoon when water was supplied and shakes my washer and my laundry room wall. It’s hard to explain but definitely something wrong. I videotaped and showed it my local BestBuy associates, they recommended to call CS and ask exchange.
I’m still don’t know it’s defected or something wrong with installation. I’m waiting for another washer to be delivered.Hope it doesn’t happen to me again for next one!

Great deal due to “out of box” deal. First dryer was severely damaged. Better to pick-up rather than have delivered.

I ordered the pair based on their small size and my limited space. First, the installers failed to follow the install procedures and didn’t properly balance the machines. I spent the afternoon doing it myself.
The first time I used the washing machine it started shaking and vibrating violently during the spin cycle. I have tried reloading the washer mid-cycle (like the instructions suggest), using smaller loads and readjusting the feet. It doesn’t matter what I do. The washer shakes and vibrates violently during the spin cycle. At first it seemed to just occur during the higher spin speeds. But now it doesn’t seem to matter what speed I set it at.
I reached out to Best Buy customer service who originally offered to replace it. Then I was told that no replacements where available and the best they could offer was a 150 dollar gift card.
I have been sold a lemon. I am very unsatisfied with both the product and Best Buy’s response.

Only washer that fit in our alcove. A tad small on the capacity. Not recommended for a large family. Single or couple without children should be fine. Works well, it quiet and pretty easy to use.

I’ve been very pleased with this compact front load washer. There’s not nearly as many models to choose from as full size washers. Did a lot of research before purchase & took into consideration LG’s excellent reputation. The only negatives so far are the lengthy wash times & the difficulty seeing the print on the grey bottom row of the selection panel that has a black background above.

We bought a stackable washer and dryer combo less than a year. Just weeks after purchase, right after a 3-month trip to Europe, it started leaking and we had to buy a pump to suck up the water. Someone came and repaired it. Last week, the same washer started shaking and making horrible noises as if it were stuffed with 10 pairs of shoes with nails on the sole. After a while, it stopped working all together and the door locked. The repairman said that the basket was off whatever it was supposed to be attached to, and the motor was broken. Fortunately, they will replace it with a new machine because we have TotalTech. I don’t know if this particular machine was a lemon or if this model is seriously defective. I have never had that experience with a washing machine, let alone a new one.
