    It still runs, but installed less than 5 years. The bar above the door that contains the vent just fell off. JUST FELL OFF. Poorly made.

    its a very microwave it does what microwaves do. it does look nice but i do not prefer this touch feature. It will probly last a few more years and ill have to buy another. I had quite a hard time installing it as it was a bit different than the other over the range microwave that i had also bought from best buy. They seem to last around 4 or 5 years. mine is over 2 years old. My dad has a tappan over the range that has lasted over 25 years. i bought my house and it had a brand new whirlpool and the megatron went out on it after a few years so i through it out not realizing they would have fixed it for free. So i bought one one on best buy and put it in myself. the megatron also went out on that after like 4 years. the part was under warranty but not the labor. thats funny because the labor would cost as much as a brand new one almost. so i bought this one. These warranties they sell to you are lies. I like this microwave. it was a bit tricky to install if you arent used to doing this. It was over an inch higher than my old one so now you can see where i didnt finish the back splash. I dont like the buttons can just be touched because that bs. This product does work but its just average. I got a good deal on it. For the deal id give it like a 3.8. I wouldnt pay more than i did. Id give it like a 3.9 altogether. it works as its supposed to. I think i paid about 357 after tax and after 50 a month i think it paid off quite quickly. I didnt even notice the payments. 50 a month when u make pretty good is nothing obviously at only 7 months. It works good it looks good. it is what it is is. good thing i had the best buy card because I would have not liked to have to pay that all at once cuz im cheap. also i think a lot of ppl complained because you cant see into it. im 6 ft tall so i see into it fine but if i was my wife or someone under 5ft 9 ya youre not going to be able to see into it while its cooking. which is a GIGANTIC bummer. that was an epic mistake. If youre under 5’9 then for just that reason you could reduce a star.

    This microwave worked for just under a year before breaking. LG sent out a company to repair it after waiting for several weeks because their customer service is terrible. They replaced the entire internal wiring. Starting working. Now a year later, it broke again. Too many headaches.

    The stainless steel piece at the top of the unit doesn’t have that break in it like lots of models do so all you see is silver. Not silver with a thin black stripe on it. I know, picky, picky. Guilty! Oh, and it has a dark interior.

    Lots of cooking options but honestly I have only used the most basic of features. But with those basic features it seems to heat the food evenly and quickly.

    Powerful heat so we often used it at a reduced power level. Well, it worked great for exactly 2 years. Now it doesn’t heat at any power level. Completely disappointed in the lifespan of this microwave.

    This microwave worked well for two years, 11 months, then stopped working and it was not worth fixing as the repair was more than I paid for it. Would not recommend. Replaced with a Samsung and hoping it lasts.

    We purchased this microwave less than three years ago. The magnetron has broken twice so far. The first time LG repaired it under warranty. The magnetron warranty is 10 years but only for the part. It broke again and they refused to pay for service. I would not purchase this product again and I am not paying more money to have it repaired even if they cover the part.

    Love this microwave. The door shuts quietly. Our last whirlpool one made it sound like we were slamming doors but this one the door opens and closes quietly. The microwave heats up fast.

    I would give zero stars if able to. We purchased this MW about a year ago. It worked fine for a month and then the power would shut down after 3-5 secs. The repairmen had to come back twice to fix. Seven months after that the MW went out of commission for power loss again and popcorn setting not working, and essentially has not been working since (overall about 4 months of lost usage) due to lackluster repair, waiting for parts, and continuing failure. It is still not fixed and at this point we want a replacement. Customer “Service” was contacted multiple times. Frustrating experiences with CS reading from their script. Filed 2 complaints with “President” No response. Call backs from LG have not occurred, ever. Promised that “we will back to you in 24 hours” Nope, never happened and LG is continuing to block me from getting a replacement. I am amazed that they continue with this. They would have saved themselves some decent money by not sending repairmen 7 times. Would not recommend.

    This microwave goes perfectly with the new LG Range and LG Fridge we bought together for our rental townhouse.

    It has all the features one would want, including a light for the range and an exhaust fan with filter to pull cooking fumes out of the air.

    The control features are all there, but in a different order than our old microwave, so it took a little getting used to, but once we did, it was great.

    I purchased this microwave almost a year ago. This microwave looks nice, has ample space for preparing a variety of products and is equipped with the ability to be vented outside. I have not had any problems with it and am totally satisfied.

    Who gives this 5 stars? We had it installed for three years. We have had service on it twice (once for a door problem and once for a keypad problem). Now it is just dead. And the filter inside the door fell off about a year ago and the handle only has one screw left. This is NOT a 5 star unit. This is poorly made junk piece that will not last three years.

    Purchase fine but techs never connected exhaust to duct and cold draft from outside comes in during winter. Terrible service with Best Buy. They need to do the work properly. Same guy hooked up my dishwasher and disconnevtef garbage disposal & light over sink.

    The most advanced microwave I’ve ever owned. This model does not connect via wifi like the matching stovetop does (I believe LG produced one, but it’s wasn’t being sold at Best Buy when I bought this one). Has a bunch of cool settings, but my favorite is having to press just 1 button to make popcorn :). Totaltech took care of the installation and hauled away my old microwave at no charge!!! LG always puts out great products.

    We bought this product on June 6, 2021. For the past several months it has been intermittently working; then, suddenly not working at all. We have tried calling LG to get connected to an LG service person in our area (zip 29928). We finally were told that the closest service person is over 2 hours away. Now we are stuck with a microwave that is barely over 1.5 years old, that only works some of the time with no way to get any service for it or compensation from LG – a company that we have looked to for quality up until now.

    Got repaired by warranty, and then the carroussel stopped working a month later now out of warranty.
    Just sucks!!

    The look of microwave is awesome! Very modern, stylish and classy! Works great and is easy to operate! One con is the way the front window is, unless you are nearly 6 ft tall you can not see in too monitor cooking.

    I love the look of the microwave. The only issue with the look is the display. It’s over the range but the display is set so far back you have to walk away to read it or be 6’2”.
