    This microwave isn’t anything spectacular. It does it’s job, but I’m not “wowed” by any of the features or performance. The bottom control feature is great, but I’m left wondering why LG didn’t take the opportunity to use the portion to the right of the door for anything more useful than a blank, useless area. To me, making the entire front of the microwave the door would have been more appealing because then, the thing would look magnificent – even if the cooking space inside were the same size as it is already. As it sits, there’s this large blank space where the controls would normally be, for no reason other than saving cost – I suppose.

    The microwave works as it should. It features handy preset buttons for items like “MAC & CHEESE”, “HOT DOG”, and “CHICKEN NUGGETS”, but they don’t get much use because they instill no real confidence as opposed to just selecting the amount of time you want the microwave to, well, microwave whatever you put in there. If anything, I’m less confident in those presets because, well, it’s a mystery how LG thinks a hot dog should be cooked as compared to 45 seconds of 1,000W worth of microwaving.

    Nonetheless, the machine works well. The popcorn button is the only button I use that puts the “sensor” to use, the rest is the traditional select how much time and hit “go” process as it’s been for the past 20 years – not much to “write home” about.

    Love this. Matches my refrigerator perfectly. Pretty easy to get mounted. The template is off a little on the wall hanging part.

    Evenly heated food for about 1 week and then heating became uneven; noising and rattles; the worse issue is the plastic clip that holds the inside metal shelf melted. Why would the unit be designed so that a critical piece on the inside melts?

    I purchased this LG microwave at the end of January. I previously had a Samsung which did not last very long. I used Consumer Reports to check the ratings for various models. The LG was second on the list, which prompted my purchasing it. However, today, April 10th, a problem arose and it is not working. To say that I am upset and disappointed is an understatement! I called the company and they will be sending a technician out to look at it.

    we loved this microwaves looks but never got to use it due to the way my cabinets are built.
    On the hinge side my cabinet sticks out past the microwave so the door could not be opened very far without hitting the cabinet. Had to exchange it for a different microwave with a different door hinge design. Wished we could have kept it though as all of our other appliances are LG.

    It is stainless steel; however, there is a bit of a bronze tinge to it. There are a number of settings and suggestions on the outer surface. The inside is wide. This piece of appliance is futuristic-looking.

    I like this microwave! Although I do have to stand tip toe to see the food cooking, that’s ok. It’s quieter than I expected. Also nice to have the over stove light. The vent is loud, but not any louder than my last 2 microwaves. It’s really sleek and modern looking. Hope it lasts longer than the GE did.

    This microwave broke with in 9 months of purchasing it. Due to covid no one would come to fix it. It was very noisy all the time. You cant see the display for time from any distance because the screen is so light in brightness. Overall LG has been a huge disappointment for us. If I could give it NO stars I would.

    This Microwave looks and worked great but the Display went blank in under two years. Scheduling Service now to take a look and are on the hook for a minimum of $125 just to dispatch service.

    Overall this microwave is great. I like the numbers and controls on the bottom, however, it leaves wasted space on the right side. It is large and fits square and round plates. The metal rack is useless.

    The LG-2.0 Cu.Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Stainless steel looks good and works really well. The controls are touch-sensitive with different power levels for heating. Also have different settings for various foods such as Mac n Cheese, hot dogs and others.

    Microwave works great, pictures online were misleading because I thought there was a keypad on the right side next to the handles, there is nothing there. Overall works great, doesn’t have any neat notification sounds like other LG appliances.

    Great microwave. The one thing I will say is the exterior is deceiving in terms of size; when you open the door there is a lot of wasted space around the edges.

    The microwave does work great, fan is great and is fairly quiet when cooking.

    Just had this installed in 2020 and it stopped working. The 1 year warranty is trash. Will use my Home warranty to repair or replace. According to Best Buy the parts and labor cost more than the microwave so ill get a new one with home warranty. A hot mess.
