    Overpriced. Too basic for the price. For example, you need all lights on in the kitchen in order to see the different functions. Would not buy it again or recommend anyone to buy it.

    My 3 complaints: no potato setting on the main screen; no speed cooking settings for 1-6 minute cooking; and the buttons don’t light up at night so if it’s darker in my kitchen I can’t even see where to press the light button. I have to turn on my kitchen light and it’s annoying. These are simple things that were on my previous oven. Otherwise, it works fine.

    Very nice looking unit. My only complaint is that the control panel is dark and somewhat hard to see the labeling. It also requires that you plug in the entire time (ie. 2.00 for 2 minutes, then press start. Our old unit was easier for input, just press 2 and close the door – then it started on it’s own. Just will take getting used to it.

    Use is easy… can be a little loud, but the brackets holding the tray/grid in are loose, so it “rattles” maybe more than it should… need to see if that can be fixed

    Works Great. We wish the sensor functions easier. We need the owner manual for a while to set things properly. Yuri at the Lynwood location set our expectations clearly.

    Microwave works great but you have to push the buttons pretty hard on the key pad. We have the double oven range from LG and only need to lightly touch the buttons. Not sure why they made the microwave with the buttons that aren’t touch sensitive. Pretty annoying.

    I like this microwave. It only has one level of light [i prefer 3] and it seems a little ‘tinny’.

    Pleased with this microwave. It was convenient to see it at my local store. It was available to purchase and it was delivered, installed within 2 weeks from purchase.
    My only minor criticism is the ‘cheap’ sounding door closing (less than door slam).

    Not terribly happy with the control panel. With no back light the buttons are incredibly difficult to see and not to user friendly to push either. Overall I wish I had demo of this before purchasing. I liked that it matched my new oven.

    Performs all the functions you need from a microwave reasonably well, but disappointed with the keypad. For one, the images online show bright white key button names, but ours has a much darker grey on black that’s difficult to see/read. That combined with a key pad that isn’t very responsive to the touch (have to push it just right and harder than any of my other microwaves), makes it impossible to give it a 5-star review.

    My son put French fries in the microwave for 30 seconds and the microwave caught on fire. This is not repairable and I only had the microwave for less than 6 months. Prior to that, it worked fine.

    Only 4 stars: Disappointed I bought a microwave that doesn’t have a display that is lite up. It is hard to see the display and so we are having to memorize the display to run the microwave. We have been using a flashlight when necessary. But really disappointed I didn’t know this at the time of purchase.

    It works good but i would spend a little more on a microwave. Buttons are hard to push. Panel isnt very responsive. Lights are yellow not leds.

    We bought this microwave when our last LG kicked the bucket. I tried some repairs, but once you get to the magnetron it’s really not worth it. This works fine and we’ve found the popcorn sensor to be just right. Totally worth trying that out. Reheating foods I’d say makes it a bit hot, but not bad.

    I don’t find the buttons harder to push than normal, but I wouldn’t say it light. In general a good overall Microwave that doesn’t break the bank

    Brought this LG microwave 3.5 years ago, It stop heating and generate a loud humming noise a few days ago. After some diagnostic, found the magnetron is broken. This component supposed to last for +10 years. LG has a 10 years warranty on this part. The component has “Made in China” in the label. Called LG customer service, they refuse to send a replacement part to me. They said they can only send the warranty part to a LG authorized repair shop. I called the repair shop and they charge the installation fee so high that you can buy a new microwave. Basically means no warranty. Surprise to see Magnetron broken so early. Poor quality LG microwave.

    Basic microwave for the high price. Looks ok but door not square with frame (fit and finish seems to be a common problem with LG kitchen appliances). Touch panel doesn’t light up. No sound control for loud chime. Stainless finish shows black spots and needs frequent polishing. Light and fan have only one on/off setting. Lacks basic features. Otherwise does what any microwave does. Should have spent more time researching this before buying.

    Major problem- the control pad does not light up. First microwave I’ve seen that doesn’t have a readable keypad unless the kitchen light is on.

    It was an open box item that was marked down almost $300 off and we were worried about why it was so heavily discounted but other than not coming with the mounting bracket, it truly is a great microwave oven. Works perfectly.

    Fit, finish, and operation fine. Keypad is very hard to see to operate. Purchased it as we have LG stove and refrigerator that match.

    On my second one. Glad i got the warranty.
    Microwave is a little loud but works well and has some features that other microwaves dont. The keep warm feature is a favorite when my timing for cooking everything is off and something is done early.
    I have overhead cabinets that will get pretty dirty and greasy because microwave vents directly on them. I do not have it hooked up to an exterior vent

    This microwave was an Open-box purchase. The microwave was advertised to be in Excellent condition; however, immediately upon seeing the microwave it was obviously not in excellent condition. The microwave has a huge dent on top left side. Since I had driven almost 40 miles and purchased the microwave online for my father’s house, I decided to keep the microwave. The microwave works perfectly but cosmetically this microwave is far from excellent condition.

    The microwave is…fine. The beeps are SUPER LOUD and I can’t figure out how to turn them off/down. And the clock display panel flickers which started about 2 months after install. Would not recommend because of this.

    Only 2 stars since I cant recommend even with good features.

    Had the microwave 13 months before it died. LG fixed it, but it died again less than 2 years later well after warranty. Cheaper to buy new one than get it fixed.

    The microwave has nice features, took a few times of testing the sense cook features to trust them even a little bit but overall they seem to work well, especially for popcorn. Unfortunately mine only worked for about 10 months. Stopped heating just before the 1-yr warranty was up, had LG service it which took a little over a month for that whole process and then it stopped working again after a half a dozen uses ( another couple weeks). Now it is past the warranty so not a good value on this purchase for me. Hopefully others had a different experience.
