I rely on white noise to fall asleep and my choice of white noise is from a fan. My previous floor fan had its motor burn out, so I needed to find a replacement and after a lot of searching decided to go with the Lasko – Cyclone Pivot Fan. My previous fan was more an industrial fan meant for a workshop and I always used that fan on the lowest setting since the amount of noise and power was all that was necessary for a moderately sized bedroom. With the Lasko, I now have to use the fan on full power to get the adequate amount of noise needed to help me fall and stay asleep. This isn’t really a negative thing, just wanted to point it out. All settings below the top speed are not that loud if you’re looking for a quieter fan. I was pleasantly surprised on the air flow and circulation that came from this fan. My room is much cooler using this fan than it was use a much more powerful fan. There is no remote that comes with this fan, but that isn’t much of a deal breaker for me. My old bedroom fan had a roommate before it burnt out and I rarely used it. The design is pretty modern where it doesn’t stand out like an old-timey box fan would.
I would definitely recommend this fan as it is an all around quality product.

I was quite surprised at how powerful this fan really is. The name cyclone is appropriate. I bought this for my son, for his dorm room, to be placed in the window. It works wonderfully to cool down his room. And it runs very quietly; at low setting, you don’t even notice it is on. My son loves it.

We had the old model and after draining the life out of it (I don’t remember how many years we had it but it was quite a while…at least 7) it gave out in 2020.
When we saw this one we did not hesitate to pick it up and it’s as good as the last one! Hopefully it lasts another 7-10 years like it’s predecessor:)

This replaces a similar floor fan of many years. I use it to draw air from outside door though my office space. It was important to me to that it be as quiet as the other. It is AND it’s stronger. It moves a lot of air. I like that it has a wall mount option though I have not tried it. The color was important to me too, because I wanted another one that would more or less blend in.

This things is great! It moves a lot of air. It can be a little noisy when you have it on 2 or 3. I like that it can be hung on a wall as well. I have purchased another one after how well this performed.
