    In my opinion, this is the only way to transfer your configuration to your new computer. Used PC mover to transfer my data, desktop, apps, and configuration, from my old windows 7 computer to my new Windows 11 computer. Used the included Ethernet crossover cable, and it worked like a charm!

    Worked really great for moving data and programs from an older Windows 10 laptop to a new Windows 10 laptop. (MS Office, Quicken, Outlook….). Only a few older programs that PC Mover didn’t move automatically. Fortunately I had the install files saved on the old PC, so these were moved, too. (important if your new PC has no optical drive anymore!)

    I was able to pick-up the Laplink PCmover within 30 minutes of placing the order, which was a simple transaction. The The Laplink PCmover worked perfectly with the Laplink Super Transfer Cable that I purchased, The whole transfer to my new Windows 11 computer only took 45 minutes and the computer worked perfectly.

    Pc mover ultimate, the best product to use if you need to move your files and other things from your old computer to your new computer. Read reviews online about this product and others before I purchased it and pc mover had the best. Does exactly what it is supposed to do and worked very well. You can’t go wrong with pc mover ultimate.

    Used PCmover about 1 month ago.
    After about 90 mins of prep, took about 3 hours to “move” from 5yr old, not eligible for upgrade Lenovo Win10 All-in-One PC to a new HP Win11 All-in-One using the included network cable. A few older programs were not movable but of the others, all the data and settings moved without any problems detected so far.

    Comes with RJ45 cable BUT most new slim laptop or tablets DO NOT come with RJ45 connectors. Should be set up with USB3 cables. You can order separate cables but they cost MORE than the Laplink product.

    Simple to use. Moved my programs and files from my old computer to my new computer. After I confirmed that everything was moved, I used the erase program to erase the hard drive. I don’t have a technical background, but I found it very easy to use. It is for a one time use. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

    My review for this product would give it an excellent rating with that meeting 20 a 1/2 out of 5 stars. Pros of the product include easyness of use,friendly and very helpful customers support, And the purchase amount compared to what you get is very great deal. I guess the only pro that might factor in is loading speed. But I’m not all that good with computers so that could have to be with an issue on my end.

    I purchased the PC Mover Ultimate program to transfer computer files and programs from an older to a newly purchased computer. It worked nearly flawlessly. I only had to fine-tune two programs. To make the two programs work, I had to add activation codes. PC Mover Ultimate is worth the (already low) purchase price based on the effort and time I saved using this program.

    Got a new computer and need to mover all your stuff from the old one? Or maybe you do alot of work with big files between devices on a regular basis. This is what you need! Over your network or through their cable link. They move only what you need to be moved.

    The customer relations people were very helpful and responsive, however, we could never get the product to
    move the pictures from my old desktop to the new desktop.
    After many attempts, I gave up and am using a flashdrive to
    move the pictures.

    Actually took over 20 hours to move one program. Then, Windows 11 would not boot up, had to do a fresh install which wiped out all of my programs complexly.

    Spent 2 hours with tech support, no good. Bought the high speed USB cable (cost more than the program!) so now I have two pieces of junk,

    Getting to Laplink to get a refund is impossible.

    Great application to move your apps from old to new computer. Went from WIN 10 to WIN 11 and most apps transferred. I left out one important app but the help number from LinkedIn helped me resolve that issue. It will not/did not move my old emails. Found a work-around.

    Used this to migrate everything from an old laptop to a new one. It did the job effortlessly. All of my personal settings came over, including the picture for my desktop.
    The only drawback is that I wanted to use the cable to do the transfer. However, the cable that came with it was ethernet. The new laptop does not have an ethernet port. Did the transfer via WiFi, which took longer. Via WiFi, I let it run overnight while there was no other traffic on the network.

    Setting up a new laptop or desktop computer can be frustrating as well as a little daunting … not with this software. Simply connect your old computer to the new computer (wired or wireless) and hit the the button; easy peazy!

    Excellent product, worked as described, easy to use. Note that in some cases you may require a USB to Ethernet adapter if your PC is not equipped xwith an Ethernet port. Going over wifi is slow.

    The version of PC mover I have has a program called safe erase which I have used and like a lot. I have not got to the PC mover program but I will in time.

    Failed to move 3 of my programs flawlessly so still can’t use them and will have to buy later versions I guess. Overall not too bad but for me it wasn’t worth the purchase since I could have just moved stuff via external HD.

    Although it took a while to transfer from my old computer to the new, it was a fairly easy process. I am still reviewing my new computer data and programs but so far so good.

    Took a while to figure out how to properly use the software. But after some experimenting, it transferred all my critical apps to my new desktop.

    Not needed. Transfer and activation of software accomplished without need for this product. The ethernet cable provided would not have worked for the intercomputer transfer of data as no ethernet port was available on the computers.
