    Note: this review is only about the hassle of getting this product from Best Buy! The product itself works fine — once you get it from another source.

    Short version: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM BEST BUY. I wish I had read the online reviews for the other variants of PC Mover on the Best Buy site before buying this. Silly me. At least half the reviews say the Digital Download link for the various PC Mover products from Best Buy does not work correctly for downloads from Laplink, that it is necessary to contact Best Buy customer support and create an alternate key in order to get a copy via download from Laplink’s site. BB Digital Download failure appears to predate the Covid-19 crisis, and is not being fixed now. Meanwhile, getting up with BB customer support during the Covid-19 crisis is (for reasons I completely understand) really difficult and frustrating.

    Do yourself a very large favor: buy the PC Mover product directly from Laplink. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT FROM BEST BUY.

    I purchased a new laptop for myself and needed to move all my files and programs from my old one to my new one. Although PCMover took several hours, all i had to do was set it and forget it. It moved everything seamlessly and could not have been easier.

    The product description led me to believe that it would transfer all of the files from my old computer to my new computer. IT DOES NOT! It does not transfer ANY problem files, only docs etc. You have to upgrade to a much more expensive product to transfer program files. This is worthless.

    HORRIBLE, buy the digital 1 use copy and find out that Microsoft Edge among other internet files dont copy it ONLY supports Internet Explorer but it doesn’t tell you that until you contact customer service

    Was not the correct item that I needed, maybe my fault for not reading the description.. After calling to get a refund I had to ask for a supervisor then got the full refund. I would order from them again.
