    Love the shredder attachment. It is easy to set up and use and easy to clean up. Only the white piece is NOT dishwasher safe. My father-in-law showed me his and my husband got it for me as a gift. It is very nice.

    Good, not perfect. Expensive for what you get – some generic brands are available for half or less the price at other retailers. It slices and shreds. Soft things get stuck easily when shredding, which means cleanup is a little harder and sometimes you have to clean mid-way through shredding because the holes are all clogged. Good for what it is, but not great. If you shell out $100-200 for a good food processor that can shred and slice, you probably don’t need this. But the benefit is that it is relatively compact and just adds right on to your existing machinery.

    Bought this to go with my new mixer and have tried the slicer for carrots. It worked well enough but didn’t quite cut as I expected. Also was hard to fit some of the carrots in the narrowed chute and there were pieces left in the main chamber that wouldn’t slice. But, it was still good and I look forward to using the shredder attachments.

    Works great to get everything shredded or sliced quickly, however it doesn’t work that well for soft cheeses and can be a little difficult to clean up after.

    I’ve made limited use of this attachment so far, mostly to grate some cheese. It works okay for large quantities, but creates more mess and waste than using a box grater. I expect this will be less of a problem shredding, say, carrots.
