    I purchased a pair of R-620F’s two years ago. I had to get an R-100SW to go with them because they lack deep bass. These don’t have that problem. I have them hooked up to my 35-year-old receiver, which doesn’t have the connections for a subwoofer, and they sound great.

    These klipsch speakers are pretty solid. They have a nice overall sound quality and are easy to set up. I’ve had my speakers for a few months now and love to listen to a variety of music throughout the day and the Klipsch Reference Series sound fantastic with a good stereo and slight tuning to match your preferred tastes.

    I got a pair of these for our game room/building & for setting out on the deck overlooking the pool area & river we live on. They’re connected to a new no frills 100w Sony receiver that I connect my music library and playlists to via Bluetooth. They blast & they do so effortlessly for as long as they need to do so. The receiver will never get anywhere close to causing these speakers to distort even at max volume all day/night/& into the next day 🙂 They’re quite a bit larger & heavier than what they replaced and so I use a small dolly to roll them out onto the deck from the game room. I’ve not put the plastic feet that came with them on the speakers & doubt I do. Honestly they seem under-designed and destined to break to me. I use a rubber mat under the speakers which protects the finish while they’re on the deck, in the game room or being moved around. Oh yeah, they sound super great too. Buy them as I did when they’re on sale for 50% off their regular price and you’ll be very pleased with yourself. It’s sorta like buy one get one free when you do it that way. I’ve listened to them now for a few weeks at all volume levels with a very critical ear and can find no deficiency, nothing to complain about whatsoever. 5 stars PLUS without question. Happy with my choice.

    These speakers sound fantastic and I drive them hard. However I will never buy “open box” again. One speaker had some scratches on the side. The other one must have been dropped backwards. It has a huge dent on the rear edge. Fortunately they seem to be functioning properly.

    Very nice sounding speakers. The feet that came with it were very cheap and plastic. The feet also stuck out. I used stickon rubber feet that worked a lot better.

    I have owned and used an earlier pair of Klipsch for over ten yearss now. And then I bought these…These are grrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaT!

    Their incredibly high efficiency rating means that they can play LOUD with a flea-watt amp but I m using 90 watts to play them and even that average amount of power is enough to make music and movies LOUD enough to wake and bake your listening area to LIFE!

    Highs are NOT disturbingly pingy like some folk would claim all Klipsch do. And the bass? It is satisfying and percussive. Buy a pair for yourself and prepare to get HAPPY!

    I listen to traditoinal Jazz and there is often a LOT of bass because they use real instruments among which more than a few produce superb, deeeep notes. Not that stooopid THUD of modern day poop music but acoustic BASS. No…Not the fish the notes.

    And the also take an action flick and nick it up more than a notch or three. Buy a pair of these and as I said, be HAPPY!

    Highly recommend-o-mundo indeed! Trust me. I know what I’m doin’ when I’m reviewin’!

    Great upgrade from my old klipsch towers. The 8in drivers make the sound much fuller, giving more punch to bass and clarity with the new cone designs. You don’t need a lot of power to run these either, but when you do, that’s where it really shines. These towers can handle power without distortion easily. Plus they look great!

    I blew the tweeters after one year with a Pioneer Elite that claims 80 watts per channel. Also, Best Buy website says they are 600 watt speakers, but on the rear of the cabinet it clearly says the main is only 150 watts. The mids and tweeters are one unit and are a horn, making it very hard to get them to sound decent.

    I was hesitant to purchase any Klipsch product.
    Reviews over the years seem to mention tinny or insufficient bass.
    I did not find that at all. I find the bass to be accurate and precise ( with punch). I have an Infinity HT1000 subwoofer and when not in use these speakers sound very good! Also, the price was great!!
