- Increased horn size
A new, larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix® horn provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area for crisper, clearer sound. The phase plug and compression molded silicone face ensure smooth frequency response. - New cerametallic woofers
The 6.5” cerametallic woofers have been updated for absolutely flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer will deliver the power, detail, and emotion you expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker. - LTS titanium diaphragm tweeter
The exclusive linear travel suspension minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. - 2-way speaker system
Sounds like 1 source rather than several separate sources. - Advanced cabinet design
Additional bracing and a divided cabinet have been added to minimize cabinet resonances and vibrations, for the utmost transparency and clarity. - Removable grille
Attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful showstopper to discrete performance piece. - Furniture grade materials and finishes
Finishes include ebony vinyl and walnut vinyl that boast satin painted baffles with a scratch resistant finish. - Improved input panel
Featuring audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts for any connection type. - 38Hz – 25kHz frequency response
Ensures a wide range of accurately reproduced sound. - 96dB sensitivity
Ensures crisp, robust audio. - 8 ohms nominal impedance
Ensures efficient conduction of power through the speaker. - Tractrix ports
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports in the main channel allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies and cleaner, more powerful bass. - Bi-wiring and Bi-amping capability
Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate high and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers. - Refined Dolby Atmos connections
Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound with the RP-500SA speakers is incredibly easy with simple, hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce wire visibility while holding them in place for better wire management. - Vented tweeter design
The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in enhanced detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction. - Cast aluminum feet
Mechanically designed to minimize surface area in contact with the floor for faster, tighter low frequencies and more detail.

I love love love these speakers. They are the Premium, that’s the mid-range. They allow me to bi-amp and to stack a pair of like-kind Dolby Atmos speakers on top, what a blast.
Cornijo –
A much needed upgrade to my surround sound system.

These bad boys get it. I can’t find anything bad to say about them. They have to be the best tower speakers I’ve heard.

I like the RP-6000 II as much as the RP-8000 II. The RP-6000 II have more of a frequency range than the RP-8000 II. Of course it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that a 6.5 in speaker does have as much bass as an 8 in speaker. The RP-6000 II has more bass than I expected. I am not trying to be cool and rattle the windows and set the neighbors car alarms off. First the manufacturer states the speaker is 8 ohm compatible. That will be at half power. The 2 channel stereo receiver I use is rated at 160 W per channel at 4 ohms load. I had the hardware of the amplifier set at 6 ohms. 2 channels driven at 80% power an almost smoked the amplifier. I caught it before it was damaged. So I recommend using a 4 ohm amplifier to drive the speakers. An using pure OFC speaker wire. Also the RP-6000 II are rated at 125 W RMS. Going by the manufactures ratings without an O scope for a visual measurement. 2 channels driven 160 W 4 ohm amplifier @ 80% power approx 144 W the speakers have inaudible distortion. The RP-8000 II can only be driven another 10 W. Also the RP-6000 II dual binding post can be taken advantage of an easily bi-wired. By using 2 set of speaker wires per speaker. Using a 2 channel stereo receiver with A+B channels. Connect the A channel output to the speaker L binding posts. Connect the B channel output to the speaker H binding post. I have given more information than the manufacturer has. The manufacturer needs to pay me. Hope this information is helpful. Overall the RP-6000 II 2 way speakers are the best 6.5 in speakers I have heard. If you can find them 35% off they are well worth it.

Highly recommend. These are great with my home theater system. Matching cones and horns of the reference premiere in wall and in ceiling make atmos scenes come alive.
