    This is not compatible with the earlier versions of Kitchen Aide. I found a workaround in Youtube but this might void the warranty on your appliance. There is no note about this when I purchased this. Please be aware that this is for the newer models. Our is from 2010. But when we got it going, we made excellent sausages.

    The sausage stuffer kit is made of plastic only been used a couple of times not sure if it would hold up for continued use
