    I’ve had this ice cream maker for less than two weeks and have already made 5 different flavors that were all delicious. Easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommended for anyone that likes to customize ice cream flavors.

    This product is a must have for any good husband aspiring to be awarded the promotion to great husband. I get to get off the couch and/ or out of the dog house with a few simple tricks. Trick one: freeze the bowl entirely before you get in trouble. Failing this use the bottom of a chest freezer to speed up the freezing time by a few hours. Trick two: make sure you keep a copy of your wife’s favorite ice cream recipe in the filing cabinet where she wouldn’t look. I keep it in the D&D binders. Trick three: make fresh waffle cones only if you were particularly naughty and need a better than usual apology.

    The icecream maker made icecream just as they said it would. Soft at first then it harded over night for a sweet treat.

    Works with my KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus bowl lift stand mixer. Freeze bowl for 24hr+ and keep mixture cold. Takes less than 30min. Easy clean-up.

    Was questioning if bowl/paddle would fit my mixer but both fit perfectly. Made ice cream to a perfect soft serve consistency from bowl. For firmer ice cream, transfer to freezer bowl to allow freezer to firm the ice cream.

    Made ice cream many times over the past few weeks. My grand daughter comes over werkly now, to make ice cream. Better if ice cream is frozen for a few hours unless you enjoy soft serve.

    After making five batches of ice cream, within two months of owning it, the plastic piece broke. When it was working, it was absolutely amazing and made beautiful ice cream. I will be reaching out to the manufacturer to see if there’s a replacement or a better option.

    Absolutely love my ice cream maker. Used it 2 days after I got it. Washed it day I bought it and froze it for 2 day then made some real rum raisin ice cream. If you’re on the wall about it, get it and thank me later!

    The attachment is incredibly user-friendly. It attaches smoothly to the mixer and the setup is straightforward. However, it’s important to remember that the bowl needs to be frozen for at least 15 hours before use, so some planning is required. The churning process is mostly hands-off, allowing you to focus on other tasks while your dessert is being prepared.

    This piece made making ice cream fun. It is very enjoyable to make the recipe we want, especially without adding sugar, and to create new recipes. Thank you to KitchanAid for saving us from eating industrial ice creams made with many preservatives and poor quality ingredients. It is a very good advantage not to pay high prices especially for the ice cream machine.

    Bought while on sale over the holidays and I made my first batch of ice cream today following the recipie from the instructions.
    Fairly easy to use and is a straight-forward process. I like the way the bowl is different than traditional ice cream makers; no needing ice and salt on the outside portion of the bowl. Just put it in the freezer.
    Getting the ice cream out of the bowl when done is fairly easy just using a spatula to transfer it to another container. It comes out soft so if you like your ice cream a little harder, put in in the freezer until it’s the consistency which suits you.
    I don’t recommend using a metal scoop to get it out of the mixing bowl because of the possible damage to the unit.
    I do recommend reading the manual before you start.
    I’ll see how it holds up over time since I love ice cream and will be making loads of it.

    This cool add on will fit either type of mixer. It is designed with the locking base type of bowl or it also clips into the model with the lift stand. Perfect if you want to make your own small batch Ice Cream!!

    Makes great ice cream, but top piece breaks too easy. I have 2 bowls n both of the top connecter pieces broke on it, making it useless unless i buy another.

    I didnt realize how long i had to leave the mixer in the freezer when I got started and im not the most patient person so my first experiwnce wasnt the greatest but it still made delicious ice cream.

    A piece broke after the first use so I returned it right away. I tried purchasing a unit attachement to save on counter space but its not worth it if it breaks. I would not recommend buying this. I went with a standalone ice cream maker.

    You can’t go wrong with KitchenAid, especially with the mixer attachments!!! Who wants ice cream that’s several weeks old from the store when you can have it fresh from home, with the exact flavors you decide? I know what I’ll take!!! 🙂
