Got this as a gift and my wife loves it. She is really not into cooking overall but for some reason this has sparked her interest. From what I have seen it does a great job at making mundane tasks simpler. I honestly get aggravated about appliances all over the counter, but this one adds to it somehow. The blue ink color is amazing. I got this because my old black and decker died and thought hey lets upgrade to this beast of a machine and add a cool looking unit to my counter. Unfortunately I did not like it in comparison to a hand held. My biggest complaint is the build up on the sides that with a hand held is easier to manage. Then there is the issue of removing and adding the bowl, a little cumbersome. If I was heavy into baking this might be ideal, or even with the multitude of attachments that work with it. Alas, I am but a simple man who makes a cheesecake or deviled eggs occasionally. I returned and now have a little hamilton beach mixer. On a positive saved $200 by downgrading.
