    I haven’t used it yet, but it looks great. The only issue is where they hook up the gas to the cooktop. It’s too far from the wall, so they had to notch out my drawer to make it close.

    Needed a new cooktop, wanted to stay with the Kitchen Aid brand as I was replacing a 24-yr.old KItchen Aid that worked fine. I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg…..this one fit the bill. Perfect size, 5 burners of varying output, easier to clean than my old one. Chose this clean design, as with the controls in the center, it yields a little more room in the bottom left and right corners for the pans.

    All fit well, works well, no issues….happy we chose this one.

    I recently replaced my cooktop with this beautiful stainless steel. I love it!! One thing I’ve had to get used to is the grate sits higher from the heating element than my old one. But that’s a good thing. Heating is even and controlled. Looks so nice in my kitchen. Also purchased a new Kitchenaid dishwasher and waitning for my new double ovens to arrive-Kitchenaid, of course!

    It’s nice, but I wish the tops were attached and just easily lifted up. It’s nice to an extent that they come off so you can totally clean it, but I wish they would just lift up and stay attached.

    So far so good. It’s a cooktop, basically an expensive set of taps for a gas line, and seems to do the job. Time will tell if the taps hold up. Like the fact that the grates are seamless and allow easy sliding from one place to another. This is considerably cheaper than equivalent products from Thermador and Monogram but seems to be perfectly adequate.

    This product was never ‘delivered’. Best Buy had to take it back because it wouldn’t fit my kitchen space. I have called Best Buy for a refund four times already. I keep getting told this will be resolved by some ‘backend’ team. And an ETA of 72 hours. The ETA gets reset every time I call, and no resolution is in sight. I would think hard before buying anything from Best Buy

    Heats quick. Even-simmer and melt on the real burner is awesome for suaces and chocolate, especially during the holidays. Moved from electric to Gas, and it is a great change. I Also really like the smooth controls and I didn’t like the models that had them all along the entire bottom, centralized is a lot better.

    This unit it effective simplicity. It performs a simple task and does it well. Design and function are clean. The additional diffuser an the smallest burner is a nice option. Replaced a GE cooktop that was an atrocity as are most GE appliances. This is a compact unit for a 36” cooktop. This is all you need to cook sauces, boil water and melt ingredients.

    I cannot evaluate this item. It did not fit in the vacated counter space, so we had to get a contractor to enlarge the space. We then ordered a new cooktop, which is due to arrive next Friday.

    don’t buy if you Chinese cooking or boil water, the fire is too far away from the bottom the pot/cookware. Bad design.

    Good solid cooktop with 19000 BTU center burner. Control knobs are made with metal. The grates are heavy cast iron. The arrangement of the burners are very efficient and well space. One of the better value cooktops.

    excellent cooktop and elegant design and look. I like the way the burners are organized compared to other model in the same branch. It has more room for front burners compared other model and I like the knob which is metal and also BTU is more than any other models with this price range. if it would an option to have light or some kind of indicator to show us when stove is on, that would make this cooktop as go to model.

    1) Poorly designed grill is raised above burner flame resulting in a lot of heat loss
    2) Uneven grill level therefore any vessel doesn’t sit flat
    3) Poor design – Grills don’t lock
    4) Poor spacing design and can’t cook multiple pots at the same time
    5) Could have provided a bit higher capacity to these 12btu and 2 of 9.1btu burners
    6) Poor design – The dials are clustered in the middle
