    I searched and searched for a reasonably priced, quality KitchenAid cooktop with clean lines and great performance! This is it! I love the lighted knobs that let you know if you’ve left something on! It has exceeded my expectations so far!

    Looks great! A little difficult to install. Due to location of the regulator, had to make some small adjustments to the existing cut-out and granite counter top. Also, there is no gasket between the cooktop and the countertop found on most other cooktops. More important, however, is there are (in my opinion), 2 major design issues:

    1). It is nearly, and I do mean nearly, impossible to read the lettering for the burners.

    2). The grates are too high and the distance between the flame and the bottom of the pot/pan increases cooking time. Additionally, this distance allows a significant amount of heat to radiate from the space between the burners and pot/pan. Pots on adjacent burners can get extremely hot. I burned my hand on the handle of a pot.

    Easy to use. Middle burner is nice for quick heating and stir frying Unfortunately, the ignition button will not stop clicking even after burner is on for 5-10 minutes. Also left front burner will not light until the burner puts out too much gas, which will usually cause a loud boom. This all happened within the first week of owning this product.

    This is my second gas cooktop, the first one (Viking) lasted only a few months. This one is so much better we are enjoying it tremendously.

    We replaced a 30 inch electric cooktop with this and have been very pleased. We have not fully utilized all of the features and capabilities yet, such as the griddle, and still looking forward to wok cooking on the center burner. Very happy with the flexibility this cooktop offers and the more precise control of the heat. We had looked at different stores, but Best Buy offered same or better pricing, and more importantly was able to provide the product quickly when others were guessing at 8 plus weeks for delivery.

    We really like this cooktop. It replaced an old Wolf cooktop. It took some cutting in our granite countertop to get it to fit, but it was worth it. My only complaint is that the letters and markings around each of the control knobs are extremely faint. Depending on the time of day they are almost impossible to read. The pictures of this cooktop on the KA site show them as dark black, but that was not the case with ours. We had a KA technician take a look and he even ordered a replacement top plate, but the printing was equally faint on it. You figure out the orientation of the knobs quickly enough, but its a bit disappointing in an otherwise well made (and not inexpensive) cooktop to have the lettering unreadable. In terms of cooking, though, we couldn’t be happier.

    OPENED THE BOX AND THE PRINTING ON THE COOKTOP WAS BARLY VISABLE.
    IT WAS AS IF THEY RAN OUTOF INK.
    BEST BUY WOULD NOT HELP AT ALL IN THIS SITUATION. HAD TO CALL THE FACTORY AND THEY SENT OUT A TECHNICIAN. HE SAYS IT WILL 8 WEEKS UNTIL HE CAN GET A REPLACEMENT TOP PANEL.
    BEST BUY IS TERRIBLE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT.

    We love our new gas cooktop! The only thing I wish it had was knob that are easier to read. I know I should be able to adjust the temp by watching the flame, but the H/L marks should either be etched or in black.

    We had thought we were upgrading our 15-year-old KitchenAid 36″ 5 burner cook top, unfortunately, that is not the case. The Cooktop finish is rough, the burner setting markers are not black like in the store but a very lite grey, almost invisible. I’m not sure the middle burner is putting out the right amount of heat. We would have kept our previous 5 burner cooktop if we had known we would have received an inferior product. I wonder how this even made it out of QC.

    It looks beautiful. Purchased in November 2021. Still waiting for Total Tech to install it. Did have an earlier install date but it could not be accommodated. However when call made to customer service to reschedule install – advised now booking for February 2022. Just called my sales representative to see if he can facilitate an earlier date. I suppose I can do a full review after its installed and we can actually use it. I have to wonder if Best Buy over-sold their Total Tech packages and cannot service customers within a reasonable time frame

    THIS STOVE TOP WOKS PERFECT IT’S SPACIOUS THE ONLY THING I DISLIKE IS THAT THE TURN ON/OFF HANDLES GET HOT WHEN YOU TURN ON THE BURNERS ON HIGH. IF I HAD THOUGHT ABOUT THIS I WOULD HAVE GOT THE ONE THAT HAS THE TURN ON/OFF HANDLE ON THE LOWER BOTTON

    So far the best cook top I have owned. I have just started using it – so can’t say about long run but I have owned previous version of this same 36″ Kitchenaid cooktop for past few years and that worked great. I was remodeling the kitchen so decided to go with latestversion. This one is quite stylish.

    Best cooktop you can buy. Very precise heat control and looks great. You need to keep it very clean, though. This is our second one. We moved. First one was a downdraft, but essentially the same. I left some salt on it for a few days and it caused pitting. So, clean up after every use. Don’t forget.

    Best cooktop. Heats up fast and has double flame controls on two burners. Super nice for cooking vegetables and frying bacon. I keep it on the lowest setting to cook slow and not to burn anything. Plenty of flame power if you need it. Totally was worth paying more for the dual flames. Nice cooking. You will love it.

    You can’t see the flame level as you adjust your knob. Unless you find a corner to peak through. Knobs get hot

    nice looking cooktop but cant get the burners to get hot enough. adjusted them, even bought a new regulator and it still takes 10 minutes to boil water. finally took the regulator apart and put some washers in it to get the flame up to a decent temp but when you do that then the low setting is to high.

    Truly an engineering marvel! We replaced out 28 year old KitchenAid cooktop ( served us well), with this cook top. The 5 burners and heat capacity caused everything we cook to burn; literally! So why am I so high on this product? We cooked Thanksgiving dinner, 3 cooks, with one working burner. Once this cooktop was installed (4 attempts but that’s another story), we didn’t know or appreciate the fire power of this appliance. We turned our backs and things that normally took 20 minutes to do were done in half the time. It was crazy! Literally all the dishes had to be salvaged leaving burnt bottoms to be scraped later. We never had so much fun cooking Christmas dinner! So, for those who love to cook and need fire power, this is the cooktop for you. Enjoy!
