Works flawlessly and would definitely recommend to a friend!
Neil69 –
Needed a replacement for our old induction top. Like KitchenAid so bought this unit. What a difference, fast and simple. If you want a quality product then look no further.
Mikayla –
My client loved it. It is a clean design and easy to install.
John –
This cooktop looks so good and is functional too. I would recommend to anybody.
Dude –
Awesome cooktop. Heats your water super fast. You couldn’t ask for anything better.
CHase –
this thing works awesome and will boil water almost instantainiously, but it is pretty noisy. depending on the pan you use on it it it can be very noisy it is almost like the magnets art supper strong so they make noise when trying to connect to a pan. the noise also changes depending on how our led lighting is dimmed. overall works but wish it was not so noisy. had a technician look at it and they said it is normal. i worked at the melting pot for years with induction cook tops and those were never as loud as this unit is.
Jessie –
This is a great induction cooktop. Unlike my last cooktop which wasn’t induction. I will never go back to anything other than induction. kitchenAid makes a great product.
Kbpedd –
Replaced my radiant heat cooktop this induction cooktop and love it for the safety of the kids and it heats so fast
Jetclaus –
The use is super easy for daily use.
I like that there are no knobs fir great care

As a first time user of an induction countertop unit, I have been impressed so far. I switched from gas to induction and like all the safety features in place on this unit. You will have the expense of purchasing induction ready cookware which I had to do but it is well worth it.

We bought this as open box. Had to wait 8 months to install it hoping all the while that it was not a lemon. It works extremely well and makes cooking a joy. Slow simmers to super fast boiling water it does it all. Highly recommended.

I was a little bit worried when we bought this but I love the look of it and I really enjoy cooking on it now. I did have to buy new pans.
Spender –
This is working as it should, the one 30″ did not last more than a few weeks.
Kim1 –
So far so good 🙂 I love how it just heats up the pot that you are specifically cooking on. Good safety feature of an induction cooktop.
KitchenAidFanboy –
I can’t rave enough about this cooktop. Sleek, easy to operate, easy to clean. I had read a lot about how fast it can bring water to a boil, but dang! The very first thing I did was to test a 5qt. pot, and it was at a rapid boil in about 45sec. Baby bubbles started appearing after about 10sec. Be warned, this is not your traditional electric cooktop where you turn it all the way up and then bring it down. Cooking temps are very consistent. Keep this in mind when cooking with oils or frying. I love this thing! Induction is the way to go.
Danny –
Hope this works as well as we want it to when we eventually get it installed.
ThisPerson –
Ok so far. All functions are operable. The hangers are tricky.
LadyE –
It heats quickly, cooks fast. No concern about leaving a gas or electric burner on! I like it.
svelda –
beware the wattage requirements on the owners manual and the installation manual are very different, and no one would give us a straight answer on which one was right.. Since installing it with the wrong size wire could cause a fire we returned the cook top. Hopefully Kitchen aid will fix this error and provide clear instructions. Best Buy was awesome and took the cook top back.
Carol –
Instantly, I am impressed, amazed, and profoundly pleased with the induction cooktop. I’ve never boiled water so fast. I’ve never had a stove with all the burners on one moment and cool to the touch the next. It is truly an excellent addition to my kitchen
Turbo –
Owned the model at our old house and loved it. Moved to new house and bought the Samsung induction top. Did not like it as much. So we bought the kitchenaid again
Fantastic5 –
This is our first induction cooktop and so far we are very happy with it. It heats faster than our radiant cooktop and does not heat up the kitchen as much as the radiant cooktop would. It is much easier to clean up spills, as they do not get “baked on” to the cooktop.
Ricky –
Perfect cooktop. Looks amazing in my kitchen. Works great and easy to use. Installation was super quick
Fridge –
So far so good. Will get a true test when we are able to host a dinner party again.
Beastmode44 –
Do not be intimidated with using this cooktop. It takes a few attempts to really learn How to adjust the temperature. The induction feature heats up pots and pans instantly. I love it
John –
Works great while it lasts. It just stopped working after 8 months. What a disappointment. I have been a fan of Kitchen Aid and most of my kitchenware is from them.
Stef –
This cooktop is the best, love the functionality, it heats up extremely fast, easy to handle and clean, would buy it again for sure
Frustrated –
We have had this cooktop for a few years now. We had the 30″ model prior and it worked great so when we remodeled we replaced it with the 36″ version.
From day 1 the large center element has not heated up properly. With a large, full pan of food the heat is too low all the way up to the “7” setting. At “8” it burns. I have ruined countless meals because of this problem. Upon searching the internet I found comments on Houzz saying they can spontaneously combust! Do not trust this cooktop!
dsm7home –
Love the new induction cooktop, had one in previous home and glad to get one again and has changed some in good ways
Christy –
I like this KitchenAid Appliance, just received it, so i have not had must chance to use it yet, will follow-up with any issues, so far so good, beautiful so far.
NancyL –
I gave up my beloved gas cooktop when I moved. I didn’t want to pull a gas line, so I replaced the existing electric cook top with this KitchenAid induction cook top. My son has one and I love his.
It took me a few uses to get used to things. It heats even faster than my gas range used to. And I’m cooking for one person, so the fast boil must be closely watched as I don’t cook large amounts for the most part.
The manual was most helpful is determining which settings work for what I’m doing at that moment.
One thing I did not like about my gas range was it got too hot, even the lowest settings were too hot and I was prone to burning hot pads. That can’t happen with this cook top. It’s much safer.
Kitchenaide –
Love my bew cooktop. Works perfect. Easy to use. Easy to clean.
KitchenAidCooktop –
Great Cooktop. Smooth top easy cleaning and easy to operate
Angell4 –
We had gas cooktop and I hated cooking with gas!! Got this induction cooktop and just LOVE IT!! Water boils so fast, so much easier to keep clean than gas cooktop. It heats up super quick and cools down very fast. Easy to operate also. So far, I am so happy I got rid of the gas cooktop.
Chef6 –
More than I expected looking forward using it I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Gymguy –
It’s reliable and heats items very quickly. My one criticism is that if you operate all the “burners” at the same time, it has problems. We replaced it once thinking it was a defect, but apparently it’s inherent in the design. The “slide” controls, which operate by sliding a finger to increase and decrease temperature, are a bit awkward. Simple + and – controls would have been easier.
Dana –
Cooktop is better than any electrical cooktop I ever had
Induction –
So beautiful and easy to navigate. I’ve always cooked with gas in the past but the induction is super fast and very accurate!
Linda –
Great product pretty and easy to clean. Modern technology
Rexy –
First time using an induction cooktop. Everything went well. Be sure to read the instructions, makes cooking much easier. However I thought the cooking time would be Much less, it was close to the same as electric water does boil faster
sur4x –
Excellent cooktop. Heats fast and looks great. We prefer this option over the stainless trimmed one.
LDBG –
Love it. Easy to clean.
Why do I have a minimum characters limit. So dumb.
seabass004 –
Product is great. Had some trouble with installation. Overall happy with product
Brendon –
Great product, easy to use. Having a surface that only feels warm to the touch after cooking is a great feature.
Ihatekitchenaid –
My new kitchen is 100% equipped with KitchenAid appliances. `The induction cooktop is barely beyond 4 years old and has required 2 major repairs that more than double the price of the original unit. One buys kitchen appliances with the expectation they will LAST. When my range works, I love it, but this is inexcusably terrible quality for a purchase that should last a decade at minimum. What’s worse, replacing this unit is complicated by the fact that a new range may not fit the cut out in my fancy stone countertop. I cannot adequately express how much I regret this purchase.
steve –
Excellent cooktop and we have been thrilled with it. You may have to buy new pots and pans that will activate the cooktop but it has been easy & safe to use.
DavidC –
We purchased Kitchenaid induction cooktop. After less than one month light use, it made a loud bang and completely shut down. After waiting long period for parts and installation with in one month unit did same thing, this time popping circuit breaker. We are told another two weeks minimum for parts and service. After waiting 56 minutes to talk with someone at Kitchenaid and then after talking with two different people we were told there is nothing they can do. Not helpful at all.
MayraS –
I’ve been waiting a year for them to change it, it doesn’t work
YoramR –
Great Service. Looking after clients needs. Will always recommend.
captainj –
Mine stopped working at 3 years and although there was an extended parts warranty, the replacement part they needed was discontinued so it was not fixable.
