    Our microwave arrived with a small defect in the door, which prevented us from using it. Best Buy quickly arranged to exchange the unit. Microwave has a lot of features, quite a few more than our previous unit so will require a little more practice. The cooktop is great – it has 5 burners, convenient controls and heats up nicely.

    Love the clean lines & style of this stove top.
    Gives even heat fast cooking instant heat
    Negative – hard to keep clean .I us the right pans that wont scratch all Ciusinart & a special stove top cleaner but without those magic wipe erasers & slot!! of muscle it would not stay clean. I did not exspect it to be this hard to keep it looking clean & shiny. I am still researching products that may help !!

    I LOVE MY NEW COOKTOP,I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE HEATING SURFACE STAYS ON UNTIL IT COOLS OFF, I LOVE THE EVEN HEATING , AND THE FACT THAT THERE IS 5 BURNERS. I JUST LOVE IT.

    Works great but a little disappointed with the quality of the knobs. They put the highest heat burner next to the control knobs and the chrome colored plastic ring below the knob is attached with an adhesive. The first time using it 3 of those rings came loose from the heat and would slide around until I ordered some high heat double sided adhesive to put under them. I don’t think that should happen at all let alone the first time using it. I really like kitchenaid appliances for the quality and look but this one didn’t do it for me.

    So far so good. I have only had it for two weeks and it is performing quite well. It is replacing a GE cooktop which was just awful. This top is much better product and is thicker and the burners are laid out so that I can actually have two large pots or skillets on at the same time. It took almost two months to receive the cooktop, however. Supply lines are really messed up with the pandemic.

    A bit disappointed on this cooktop, the grills heat almost nothing, so cooking takes me a long time. The knobs do not turn very easily. I have always have electric stoves which to the day had worked very well for me, until now.

    Great stove. I guess it doesn’t take 20 min for water to boil. My new one now works in 2 min!!!! The only downfall is it’s hard to see where the actual burners are until you turn them on!

    I absolutely love this cooktop! It has 5 burners, 2 of which are large. I like that the knobs are on the side. The burners heat up quickly! I’ve used it quite a bit since it was installed and I am very happy with our purchase!!

    Do not buy, you will be sorry. Confusing to select the right knob for the burner you intend to turn on. Knobs should be arranged in a format that aligns with the burners.

    Takes too long to heat up when you are trying to cook something on high heat. And the lowest simmer settings are too hot! All around not useful.

    Ceramic top scratches too easily. Even my aluminum pan caused a scratch in the surface.

    very nice-looking cooktop but it doesn’t work well. Very inconsistent, heat is not strong at all and the small zone in the middle barely works. Love Kitchen Aid brand and have never had an issue until this cooktop. Not recommended.

    Hard to keep clean. I clean my stove after every use, but still some spots are very hard to keep polished clean. Also when using the dual mode ring, it heats up the outer ring even though I’m only using the inner ring.

    The installers were great. The cooktop is beautiful. It is easy to use, has multiple dual function burners including simmer and melt options. A setting for continuous boil without spilling is fantastic – no more guessing for us coooking novices. The letter/etchings for the gauges is grey on black so it’s not the easiest to see but it does function to make the entire top look black. The look is great with our other appliances and the registration was easy with included QR code on the warranty card. We’ve had it 9 days with no issues. The best feature is it does not shut off automatically if you drip water or sauce on the cooktop. Our prior cooktop would shut off if this happened and if you didn’t see, the food stopped cooking. We are really very satisfied with this cooktop and being a KitchenAid, you know it’s quality.
