    I had some issues with this purchase and was told to another best buy that was 40 miles from my current location , not really a good stero if you need glasses buttons are small hard to see during days

    Dealing with person on the phone was a real nightmare !! Then they blocked my ATM card for absolutely no reason and didn’t notify me ?? I had to go to the bank and straighten it out !!

    I have this for a month now. So far its very good. You can customize the sound system/equalizer to your liking. It has a lot of options. I use to have a stock receiver before but with a 3-way kicker speaker on my miata but i was so frustrated of the sound quality. But once i changed to this Kentwood receiver, it unleashed the full potential of the kicker speaker and the sound quality was superb.

    Really good stereo for the price. Only downfall is you get the radio and they give you a code for Sirius but you have to buy the adaptor in order to get Sirius. Other than that best purchase if made on a stereo

    This head unit has nice features, and is very customizable. The problem i have is it over heats. Half way through a song and the audio distorts. I am only running 2 4×6 and 2 5inch speakers which are rockfords. Even done it with the factory speakers. When i had the rockfords installed i had all new speaker wire installed as well by a certified audio installer. After he installed the new speakers and ran new power wires and ground to the head unit he discovered the back of the head unit was getting extremely hot at a volume level of 15. He let the unit cool to room temperature of 74 degrees he disconnected the back speakers which are 4x6s and just had the 2 5 inch going. Within 2 minutes at volume levels of 15 and less the unit was still overheating. Took unit to bestbuy and exchanged it for another unit with the same issue.. i called kenwood they informed me that the model KDC-BT-382U is known for overheating and i would be better off buying a higher end unit that has safe guards to help prevent overheating. I guess the updated model of this head unit has internal cooling fans. I guess that’s what i get for buying a $150 dollar head unit

    plenty of options for different genres of music in terms of tuning if you have a good range freq 4 speakers. I find myself with sub to lvl 10 max bass lvl 9 max, took down highs and mids a tad. quantum audio amp making about 1000 watts (high rating of 2500, same size as 10 year old 1000W 300 continuous kenwood amp). Doesnt get simpler than jvc-kenwood or sony. Gets nicely loud fantastic for 2tweeter+2full range
