I worked around aircraft for many years and have a constant ringing in my ears around 1.5-2Khz. That being said, mid level speakers (>$2K each) Who quality would be beyond my ability to hear. These speaker are my 2-ch application, in a 10×10 open concept room (3 walls only). My source is a Pioneer Elite PD-65 CD Player analog connected to a Pioneer Elite M-72 Power Amp. I only play two genres of music, Jazz and Smooth Jazz, but a variety of categories from brass to vocals to bass guitar. My big mistake, I was need able to hear the KEF Q750 in my listening space. I relied on reviews and specifications. My fortune, that these are perfect for me. I listened to a Harry Connick Jr piece that had the big band track, lots of trumpets and trombones and the high notes was bright not brittle! Vocals and midrange is spot on. The sound stage is perfect. The low end is crisp and fast. There is a caveat here, in Jazz most of the Instruments lowest frequency is 40 Hz and it does very well reproducing the bass violin. Of course Jazz Organist can bottom the foot pedals out at 12 Hz and the KEF Q750 won’t replay that. So, if you’re going to place the KEF Q750 in a movie environment, you’ll need subwoofers to get the thump of a car explosion. I know that there are many 2-ch applications anymore, but if you have a dedicated music listening space that is small and you are trying to decide on bookshelves with a sub or small floorstanders, get the KEF Q750!

The sound is AMAZING! The look is sleek the only I would recommend is if you have a toddler they will most definitely be “curious”. Purchase a grill (aka” speaker cover) which is not included..

Sounds great tight bass .dynamic mids and harmonique highs . Truly happy w these towers . Grills are a seperate price 49 bucks a piece . But a fine set for sure . Ease of use got a 4 cause they kinda heavy . I like moving my speaks around sampling sound
