Great protection and a nice clean look for these great speakers.

a necessity if you have children around the speaker. Only problem is there kind of easy to knock off.

They’re magnetic speaker grilles – sorta a necessity if you have pets or children. You don’t want to damage your speaker drivers- especially the unique uni-Q driver array. If you damage the cone, the whole driver array including the tweeter has to be replaced.
My overall rating on these grilles is good because their impact on the sound is not really perceptible. The magnets seem strong enough to keep it from being knocked off.
However the price is brutal. There is already a big markup on the KEF Q350 speakers- they usually sell for ~$750 and can go on sale for $500. It seems there should be a big enough profit margin for them to include speaker grilles, but what do I know.
I use three Q350 speakers for the front stage of my living room, so I just had to pay $75 for speaker grilles. Ouch.

These covers are nicely built and look good on the KEF Q350 speakers I bought at Christmas. You can run the speakers without these covers of course but I like the more traditional look with them in place. They attach magnetically and are thin so they don’t hinder the music at all. They are a bit on the expensive side and should come with the speakers themselves rather than being an additional purchase. I’m still glad I bought them though.

Great item. Slightly mobile as there is nothing for it to “click” into. Solid construction and sounds to be pretty audio-transparent. Should be included with the speaker at this price point. However 25 dollars isn’t life-altering.

Definitely some of the better covers out there, the magnets have rubber that detaches them a little from the speaker itself, and the entire backside is plastic with a cloth cutout for the driver array.

KEF, if you’re selling white speakers, it’s only logical to provide complementary white grilles. The fact that they weren’t included with the speakers is a topic for another discussion, but not offering matching grille even separately is perplexing.
I also want to share a bit of insight for potential buyers. The product title for these grilles indicates “(Each),” which initially led to some confusion because pictures depict two speakers, and since the Q350 speakers come in pairs, it wasn’t clear whether one or two grilles would be included with my purchase. To clarify, it’s just one grille per order, so disregard the pictures and order accordingly if you need a grille for both bookshelf speakers.

Makes my 350s look smooth and provides much needed protection from little fingers so my speakers can be at the appropriate height for optimal listening. I just wish that for the price Kef would include the screens with the purchase of the speakers.
