I was not sure how these connected to the speaker when I ordered them and was pleased to discover they are magnetic. They look much better than looking at a woofer.

KEF speakers don’t come with grilles, but with young kids in the home, I knew I needed to get these.
They have magnets and are super easy to install. And you can still see the KEF logo even after you put the grille on.

They are as advertised, speaker grills for a specific speaker. The magnet mounting is cool but they could have just included these with the $500 speakers… great speakers but talk about annoying when you open the box and realize the grills don’t come included.

The grills are expensive and should be included with the speakers but I have to admit the magnetic aspect is pretty cool

While I love the look of the speakers without a cloth grille, I wanted something to protect the drivers when other people are near my speakers and these do the job as elegantly as I could ask. The magnets are strong enough and make the speakers look similar to my KEF 104/2s, so when I put together my 4.1 system they’ll look good together rather than my Front LR having black grilles and surround without.

I like that KEF gives you the option of saving a little money by passing on the grilles. I feel like it protects the speakers more than it enhances their appearance. I think they look fine without the grilles.
So why get them? Protection from toddlers.
