BlakeR –
One on the best pictures i have seen out of a projector. I have had many projectors and this is the best. A little more on the higher price tag but great picture.

I chose this over the Epson LS12000 because that is not native 4k and over the Sony VPL-XW5000ES because it does not have HDR10+. Although those two have a laser light source, I was afraid that once that dies, I’m left with an unusable projector. At least I can replace the bulb with the JVC. There is also the 3D option that the other two don’t have. The picture quality in this JVC is awesome (vs my previous Epson 5030 1080p). The fan noise is not terrible with the brightest setting watching HDR. It is massive and heavy. 2 person job for ceiling mount. Needed a new Chief SLB281 plate but was able to use my old Chief RPA mount. Highly recommended, but pricey.

Very good projector and great value for money when compared to Sony VPL 5000.

Incredible black level and excellent contrast from a bright image with vibrant color. It replaces my Epson 6040 ub projector and the difference is like night and day.
