It fit into the stock location easily, no cutting or consul replacement (I don’t need nor use touch screens). Sound reproduction is OK, needs better speakers then the OEs that came with my Jeep. I believe in the “KISS” principle and this unit is a little more complicated then I like. I have to crank up the volume when using my cell phone on Bluetooth. Had to mount the Sirius XM antenna on the front near the wind shield because the roof is a molded plastic.

Just bought this because it still had a CD player and had it installed by Geek Squad. After installation in my vehicle you can only see the screen when you look from the top down. I can’t see the screen while driving, even with the brightness turned up all the way. This is going to be returned and buy some other until that doesnt use a polarized LCD display.

Even with maxed out brightness the display is extremely difficult if not impossible to see if its bright out. Installed in a 1997 civic. Likley would be for vehicles that have more shade where the stereo goes

This unit has a lot going for it sound-wise. Unfortunately, the display is essentially impossible to see in the daylight -even adjusted to the brightest setting. This makes daytime use quite problematic. It is a shame, because the unit sounds great.

Lots of settings, which is nice. Color change is nice too. But it isn’t loud at all. Volume level only goes to 25. And it is too quiet, can’t even hear over the exhaust. It isn’t the speakers, it’s this unit. I’m returning for a different unit.
