    Great so far. Like many others, I got two of these at discount and didn’t expect too much. Knowing my van is basically baseless from the factory I figured anything was better than my current position. Man these things have blown me away with their performance. I only installed one, in my van being powered by a MTX Thunder 500.1. It sounds great. I usually keep the bass turned down on my head unit otherwise this sub is rattling everything. Like I said, more than capable. I built a 1.7 cu.ft. sealed box, as I found that as the recommended box from JBL for this speaker. I extremely happy with my purchase!

    Subwoofer exceeded expectations. I use two of them mounted to a platform under my couch as a shaker to complement LFE. There’s plenty of tactile response powering them with an old avr.

    I bought 3 of these bad boys 2 years ago and they’ve held their own if you were planning on spending 400 dollars on a subwoofer and seen these I’d say buy a more expensive subwoofer but I got all 3 for $90 brand new and for the money they’ve paid for themselves if your thinking about getting a cheap subwoofer then I would totally recommend these

    Decent subs for the price, would not recommend if your like me and looking for ear drum shattering boom…but they have a very good deep bass if you just like mid volume music on your drive

    Owning a subwoofer has changed how I drive and feel on a daily basis. However, a few months ago my first JBL Subwoofer broke because I was pumping my jam too hard. I didn’t notice until I got home and I was both heartbroken and upset because I knew what kind of rides lied ahead of me – lame and boring. Nevertheless, I am a very great driver but owning a system is a must have! Anyways. After speaking with my better half and sharing how unfortunate this was for me, we decided to keep an eye on this product in case it went on sale. So we did, FOR MONTHS. Which let me say, where the longest months of my life. Time goes by and I earned enough points at work to cash out with a Best Buy GC and buy a new subwoofer. It was like life came back to me and it felt like nostalgia.

    After a quick and super easy swap, I am back and feeling like myself. Now I drive happy because I have my system back. So JBL and Best Buy, thank you for letting me enjoy my music and for having a great product that I’m proud to share with others and mainly myself.

    I have 4 of them in spec tuned bandpass enclosures powered with a QSC RMX2450 crossed over at 100hz. They have performed excellently for 4 yrs now. 10 outta 10 would recommend for the budget frendly builder

    The legendary gx1200 is by far the best bang for your buck if you want to build a Hovereze, Hoverback, Boss or similar Tactile Response platform.
    It will destroy crowsons at way less.

    These speakers sounded great for the 9 months that they lasted. Unfortunately JBL is having some quality control issues as all three of these subs failed in the exact same way with the negative lead breaking off from its soldering point on the cone.
