    This is a must have accessory when buying a Mac laptop. Only two USB-C ports on laptop. With this item you can connect your power source, HDMI for a monitor and other USB devices like remote mouse.

    Easy to install once you figure out your laptop. Has a lot of connections which is a plus. Over all it has been working great.

    I use this dock for my work computer. I want to like it, but it works for about a week or two and then all the sudden it just stops. Will not power devices and refuses to connect to the computer that is plugged in. I do not know what is wrong with these docks but they are faulty.

    This docking station was easy to set up. It does not require power, but you can plug power into it. This was purchased to allow use of multiple screens when using my work laptop.

    Pairing this with 2 samsung monitors + gaming laptop. On one of the ports it works fine. But on the other port it makes only one screen work. On Chromebook it will make only one screen work. So generally it seems like the device works but it may not work properly depending on the port and the laptop you are using. So be prepared for it to not work as expected

    I bought this to replace an older hub with pretty much the same port selection. Quite disappointed that this one requires a driver install! Technically the USB splitting uses the standard protocol and one of the hdmi ports kind of works, but still.

    I was looking for something a little more budget friendly for my Surface Pro 9 than the MS Dock and got the J5create. It works just fine for me. I use every port and one HDMI and feed it with a DELL 120 W power supply and so it handles powering my surface as well. the The gigabyte ethernet port works well but I have a 5 Gig optical so I run a separate 2.5 Gb interface on one of the USB 3 ports to give me better throughput. Once or twice it has dropped its connection but I suspect it has to do with the Surface.

    This product was very easy to set up and plug in. I use dual monitors attached to this unit via my laptop. It all works wonderfully and I’m very pleased with how simple it was to set up. It also has much more capacity to handle other external products!

    This doesn’t work well.

    One problem I’m having is internet through the attached ethernet cable suddenly disconnecting. This has happened very inconveniently when I’m leading Zoom meetings with 50 people in them. I’ve finally decided that it’s the docking station, because other devices using my router have not stopped working. In order to get the ethernet connection working again, I have to eject the external hard drives connected to this docking station and then unplug and replug it to the mac.

    The other thing that doesn’t work well is that if my external screen is turned off, the docking station doesn’t seem to notice and the mac keeps putting windows up there. I can’t use or close the windows, e.g. my browser, when the screen is turned off. So my mac thinks the browser is open, for instance, but I can’t use it. This is inconvenient, because the screen is attached to a UPS, which takes time to fire up.

    I don’t like this device. Now that I’m seeing that it is responsible for my Zoom meetings crashing I have to figure out whether it’s still under warranty or not.

    This USB docking station has been used with 2 HP laptops. Connected to it are 2 vides: both LG: One is a 32′ LG flat screen and the 2nd/main is an LG 35″ curved screen. In addition, it also powers 2 external hard drives. Compact and totally reliable.

    This “docking station” solved my problem. Was having problems with getting two external monitors connected to laptop to resolve properly with high definition resolution. I was using LogMeIn to connect remotely from my laptop to my work computer which had two high resolution monitors connected. From the remote laptop session, one monitor would look correct and the other was stuck in a 800×640 resolution mode. I tried changing display settings in windows and on the monitor itself, and worked with LogMeIn support to modify the settings within the emulation/mirroring software package, and even purchased other less expensive usb-c to hdmi adapters and splitters, but nothing would resolve the low resolution limitation seen on the second monitor connected to the remote laptop. Once I bought this docking station the resolution issue was immediately resolved. Besides this obvious win, the item is very sleek as well designed, and provides every type of new and legacy port I could ever need. Great product.

    This is a great product, Its nice that it adds angle which helps air flow to the bottom of the laptop. lots of added ports for those laptops that are lacking. does not need additional power supply, it powers of of your laptop.

    This product works as advertised and I really like the sleek design, as opposed to some of the more bulky versions from other brands. I use it for my lap-top and various peripherals, like a larger monitor, speakers, microphone and back-up disc. I can rest my laptop on top of the station and it makes for very compact and well organized workspace without lots of wires & cables.

    First, I need to say that I do not use this docking station for my Internet connection. My laptop is connected to my Wi-Fi but I do have two monitors and a phone charger connected to it and I have zero issues. It starts up very quickly shut down and connectivity is effortless

    Didn’t work for me for the intended use. It did not come with a power adaptor. I thought it wasn’t working properly because of the power adaptor. I purchased the 100w power adaptor. As far as monitor connection and internet it didn’t work. This is a really expensive multi-charger. Save your money get a extension cord instead.

    I LOVE this docking station. It supports my 4 monitors, speakers, power, mic, and all the other stuff I’ve got plugged into it with ease. It isn’t big and bulky. You get a whole lot of bang for your buck on this one.

    This doesn’t come with a power cord and I was under the assumption my power cord would work. Well, it doesn’t and I have had this for a while sitting to the side in boxes to update with. my two new monitors. I can only hope that Best Buy will take it back.
