    Exactly what I needed for the monitor/laptop combo I was running. (Graphics has to have the USB-C/Lightning video feature)

    I have an iPad Pro from Apple and I needed the capacity to be able to plug my iPad into my Sony Bravia 65 inch television. This little adapter was able to handle broadcasting from the USB see port into the televisions HDMI ARC compatible port. Apple has no issues recognizing this device and when you plug it into the Sony television, it recognizes it as a valid video source. The construction is well-made. It seems to do the trick for what I needed it to do. I also use this device to send video from my dell laptop to a large screen projector and it handles it with no issues there either.

    This does exactly what it says on the box. The light effects are cool on the HDMI end, but kinda useless for me, since I don’t get to see them.

    Great product. A Best Buy employee left his area to help me find the right cable. He asked more questions, and then suggested a better cable that was right for my application. Not knowing, I would have stayed with a USB-C to USB-C. So, glad that he initiated the conversation. I am now getting a higher quality connection.

    Great durable cable for my ultra slim laptop with only usbc ports. Worked seemlesly just plug and play to connect to 4k tv. Great to know this can handle 8k as well with ease.

    This works fine! I was suffering through sync dropouts, and decided it was likely the cable. Upgraded to this 8k and all is fine. I have been using it for 4K dual monitors for 4 weeks wiht out any issues.

    I use this for both my work laptop. It was delivering 120hz at 4k monitor size but with recent microsoft updates I noticed it is now only able to handle 60hz. I kind of wonder if it is the cable. But I did see it do 120hz at one point and it was epic!

    Works great but $50 for a cable is a rip off. I used ir to connect a 42” 4K television to my laptop for a monitor.

    This cable DOESl NOT support an external 4k monitor at more than 60Hz with a MacBook Pro, which is clearly stated on the product box, and it is correct – you only get up to 60Hz option. It’s conveniently not mentioned on this site, leading to the assumption that MacBooks aren’t an exception and the advertised res/refresh combo works for Macs, as well.

    In the end I returned this cable as it didn’t support charging functionality.
    It was a bit on the pricier side, so I would still think twice about it. But its performance was good and it did most of what I needed.

    Dolby vision content doesn’t work the best out of the box since it needs an update for that but otherwise it works fine for outputting 4k120 content

    Works well, though the initial use the monitor had a very off-color, almost pink, color shift to it. Was able to adjust the display settings to get more accurate color. I don’t think this would work if you were in a color-accurate setting [need hi sRGB or P3 color].

    Got this for my wife’s HP laptop issued to her from her employer. Not sure the model, but the build in HDMI port could not drive a 3440×1440 monitor, but this little adapter sure can! It is also running at 120Hz no issues, very nice.

    Works mostly for connecting a 4K monitor to my Mac Studio — but occasionally black out for a few moments. Not sure if it’s the cable or the Mac. If I unplug it and replug it the problem goes away, until the next time the screen goes to sleep.
