    It works fine for light duty, e.g. a device to add ports to your computer. However, if you use many of the functions/ports simultaneously, it starts to get buggy. I had an HDMI monitor, ethernet, USB-C power cable, and a transmitter for a wireless keyboard and mouse plugged into it, and after a short time, maybe 30 minutes, the wireless transmitter stopped working. It gets quite hot when using ethernet and power pass-through, and my guess is that it overheated causing some of the USB ports to deactivate, but that’s just a guess. Either way, if you are looking to use it more as a laptop docking station, I would save your money and get something else. This is not up to that type of use. If you are using it to add a couple of USB ports, occasional and short-term ethernet use, or occasional HDMI monitor use, it should probably work fine.

    Product gets extremely hot. HDMI has never worked on this. It seems to work ok as just a USB hub.

    J5CREATE Did solve my problem. It does get a little warm to hot. My computer opens a couple of drives for the device and I have to close it down every time I let the laptop go into idle mode.

    I bought this for my 2023 Mabook Air. This thing is awesome, has a lot of features, but the price is still a bit steep for something that should be included with a brand new computer, especially from a company like apple. It’s a bit cheaper than other alternatives so that’s nice, but yeah it’ll still put a bit of a dent in your wallet

    My former dongle stopped working, and I needed a new one asap for work. I couldn’t wait for Amazon’s two day shipping, and fortunately Best Buy had this dongle in stock with all the ports I needed. I run this dongle daily on a Macbook Pro with a second monitor, HD camera, microphone, ring light, and ethernet port. It runs very smoothly, and I haven’t had any issues in the three months I’ve had it. It may feel a little pricey to what you see on Amazon, but the quality so far seems to be worth it.

    This works good and awsome but honestly i guess if u need this to ethernet your phone hey it really works and also u can add flash drive in it and hook up your android phone and it will work and it works with ethernet tooo and with usb flash drive to flash your phone or to get everything offf of your phone or vice or verse
