We have an older version that still works and I love. I decided to get another unit for upstairs. The design of the waste bin is flawed. It constantly says it’s full even though it is not the case. Unfortunately, I found out about this issue too late and couldn’t return it.

This has to be the worst robot vacuum i have ever purchased. it stays in the same spot in the corner of the room for 20 minutes, going over the same spot. The it acts like okay I’ve done my job and heads to the charging station. And on the app it will say the job is done when it’s only done a quarter of the room. do not buy. The app sucks too.

I purchased this Roomba i3 to replace my Proscenic M7 which had a failing battery. After downloading the app and charging it, I began the cleaning process on the upstairs floor of my house which js all hardwood. The first thing I didn’t like was that the app can’t show you the progress on cleaning, it only shows you that it is cleaning. After the Roomba cleaned the rooms there was no detailed map showing where it had cleaned only a vague generalization. When cleaning the dust bin, it appeared that it hadn’t picked up as much of the dust, hair and debris normally captured by my M7. I liked the dual roller brushes, but the i3 only has 1 “feeler” spinner on the front while my M7 has 2. Overall, the Roomba i3 is a decent vacuum for the price, but I ended up buying a $40 battery for my M7 and resumed use of it.

Excellent robotic vaccum cleaner, huge improvement over earlier releases.now instead of skipping areas around obstacles it maps around the obstacle and cleans the area past models would skip.It can map and store entire floor and lets you to select which room/area you want cleaned

We love our iRobot Roomba vacuum. It cleans our entire home and we have tile and wood floors and area rugs and it breeze’s through them vacuuming up all the dirt and pet hair, we have cat’s and a dog, with no problem leaving our floors clean every day. It runs wirelessly through our Internet gateway, is easy to operate with a free app on my phone, easy maintenance, has 10 times more suction power than previous model’s and comes with a warranty. It maps your home and you can set up a schedule for when you want it to vacuum and you can also have it vacuum now. It also notifies you on what it’s doing or any needs, like the trash bin needs emptied. When vacuuming is complete it redocks itself for charging on the charger stand. If it is running low on power it will go back to the charging dock and after charging it will go back to the exact same place where it stopped and finish the job. Great quality and value.

This Roomba is my new best friend!! It does a great job vacuuming all the dirt and dog hair. I read other people complain about the noise it makes but I honestly don’t find it that loud. It’s a machine and going to make a bit of noise. I definitely recommend this as a must have!

It is great when it works! This review is for the amount of time required to try to “fix” it after it decides to stop functioning. I’m guessing it worked well for about a year…after that, you spend much more time trying to fix it for a wide variety of issues.

Love iRobot as it is a helpful tool to help me with the house duties. A con for this model is the bin gets “full” fast. When go to empty it is not full but dust is stuck triggering that alert. Can happen several times during a cleaning. Can be frustrating.

Pros: vacuum cleans great as long as sensors are clean/no dust. Cons: Have to clean machine well daily & have to pick up things from the floor before each use. Also, mapping is unreliable because it goes in unselected rooms.
