    Picked this up on sale for a great price and paired it with the RTX 3080 for 4k gaming. This is just the right amount of CPU for 4K since most games are GPU bound and this CPU does not bottleneck the 3080 very often. I used a $20 ID SE214 cpu cooler with this CPU and the temps don’t exceed 65C at 100% load in my Fractal Torrent Nano case.

    Cost to performance you still cant beat the I5-12400f. I have this paired with a 3070 and could not be happier with the gaming power. Only recommendation is to pick up an aftermarket cooler as the stock one can get loud/audible under load. I ran the stock cooler for 2 weeks before I switched it out for a Dark Rock.

    Just built a new PC and i ordered this processor. The fan it came with had very little thermal paste on the bottom and it didnt come with extra. I figured that would be fine to put it on still but as soon as i start up my pc it states the cpu is getting hot up to 89 c

    I currently have this paired up with a 3070 and there is zero bottleneck. Easily get 100+ FPS @ 1440 on majority of all games I through at it at Med/High settings. I get about 110 average on Warzone 2/MW2, 150 on Destint 2, and 165 (capped) on Siege. Very strong budget CPU for gaming.

    very good 1440p gaming performance. doesn’t run too hot when equipped with a good air cooler. I have a 3070 and i get framerates above 100 in high settings in warzone 2. i also play Overwatch and i max out my monitor at 165fps

    Decent midrange CPU with a fairly easy to install fan that has preapplied thermal paste. It runs well and the cooler keeps the temps low and isn’t loud.

    At firts i was considering a ryzen 5 5500, but after testing both fir a while i relized that intel was the way to go, runs queit and is good quality

    The smaller brother of the 12600k. This also cost a decent amount less than a 12600k while maintaining close performance. Pair this with something like a 3060Ti and you have a well balanced build.

    I’ve had no problems with this at all. Good speed, but if you don’t work on computers be VERY careful installing this and learn exactly what to do first. Also make sure you get a graphics card because this does not have built in graphics
