    Failed to advise it wasn’t in stock and advised instead that it was being delivered with installation. Took off work. No one showed. When I called they said the 3rd party provider said noone home. Lie. Ended up cancelling after several efforts to reschedule. The people at geek squad were either uninformed or intentionally deceptive as it took several phone calls with unfilled promises of a call back before finally advising the product was unavailable. Waste of my time a d probably lost money due to missing work.

    I am utterly disappointed. I purchased this back in May, had it installed incorrectly in June and since then multiple installers have come out and stated they don’t have the tool to fix it. I’ve several Best buy numbers to remedy the situation and nothing gets done. It is now July and My kitchen is still not functional. I’m also missing a microwave and the new garbage disposal is leaking every where.

    Very happy with the new disposal. Powerful 1HP, yet not terribly loud. I try not to put much food into it but when needed it functions very efficiently.

    I specifically purchase this item as “cordless” supposedly meant it was hard wire, which is what we needed. Well cordless meant exactly that – no cord, not hard wired, no way for it to work once installed. Had to pay more money to have an electric outlet installed under the sink and get a power cord.

    We had a 1/2 horse unit. It quit working and we looked at several. This one was a bit more but it has Stainless Steel inner workings. NO rust. Worth the money for us and I research EVERYTHING! The noise of this 1 HP unit is less than my old 1/2 horse unit.

    Bought this when our previous garbage disposal (also Insinkerator, 1HP) started to malfunction. I’m really happy with the product, and it is definitely on the quieter side. Good quality.
    Make sure to add the cable to the cart- even though it is “free” it doesn’t automatically come with it (you have to add it separately). Also, -1 star for the installation. I noticed when they were testing the product that it was unusually loud. I asked them to reassemble. Debris from the installation had fallen into the disposal. Unprofessional & not off to a good start. No qualms with the product though!

    Excellent product, reputable company, 1 hp, stainless steel parts and it comes with the warranty. But why did Best Buy take two months to deliver and install it when I paid $120 upfront for installation? I called three times in kept getting the runaround. One customer service rep said I would be mailed a $30 coupon for my troubles. The coupon never came.

    I had this installed about three weeks ago and have enjoyed the upgrade, the installation process was mostly seamless but i had a some parts that wouldn’t fit on my current sink

    Works like a champ but had a problem with the 1st one and had to come back with a 2nd one and not as quiet as advertised. Definitely gets the job done quickly, never had anything get stuck and have had it almost a year now.
