    The product required additional adhesive to remain mounted and it still fell down after a hot day. The angle which allows the unit to remain secure to the mount is one where a visual of the unit screen is virtually inaccessible to the eye. With these problems early on , I new it would be inevitable that the unit would virtually be unusable so I returned it….

    I like the concept and function of this product. I purchased and oversize vehicle and needed something to set my GPS on since the vehicle has a lot of vibration and items can move from the swaying. This product kept my GPS steady and I was able to avoid any low bridges along the way.

    This mount did not stay in place on my dash. Also, the ball attachment would pull off when adjusting the tilt with the GPS in place. Overall, it did not work well for me. I went back to my old one I had saved. It has the sticky/gummy bottom and stays in place much better.

    needed to travel and drive a vehicle over 600 miles. thought i would try a ‘temporary” mount for my Garmin.
    Was pleasantly surprised at how steady the mount was on the dash despite not being attached.

    I’ve only had the chance to use it once, but it is very nice. It’s flexible and sits on your dash without moving around at all. I’ll know more in a few weeks when I have a rental car again.

    I bought this because my new gps uses a bigger ball for the mount than my old gps. I like the dash mounts because the suction cups always fall off my windshield.

    For well over a decade, I have been using a GPS dashboard mount of this same style with the hopes of keeping my GPS devices secure on my vehicles’ dashboards to, hopefully, extend the life of my GPS devices. The great thing about this Insignia dashboard mount is that its flexibility gives it the best chance to remain in place as one is driving–not all dashboards are flat! I could not believe how heavy, relatively speaking, this Insignia dashboard mount is. When I took it out of the retail box, I quickly learned that the arm which attaches to the back of the GPS can be raised to a degree. The Garmin GPS bracket clip which attaches to the back of my Garmin Drive 52 GPS securely & properly connects to the ball connect which is located at the top of this GPS mount. The underside of this weighted dashboard mount has a somewhat non-skid feature making it less likely to shift, say, if you brake or make an abrupt turn. I am very pleased with the price as well!

    Weighted dashboard mount helps with positioning once you get it in the correct position. It is cumbersome, but it serves the purpose for us. It has many positions.

    This is a great alternative to the windshield. It allows both drivers to view the map easily. I like the stability it provides the Garmin and the height of the mount with the Garmin is just perfect and leaves the windshield completely clear with no viewing obstructions.

    This device works great with our new Garmin. It sits on the dash and doesn’t slide around – unlike a holder we had with a previous GPS. It’s easy to adjust the GPS to different angles when a different driver takes the wheel. And it’s easy to attach or remove my GPS when I need to do that.

    I don’t like this product. My GPS device doesn’t attach securely to this mount. The attaching mechanism is complicated and does not hold my GPS securely. I’ve literally had my GPS fall off of the mount while I was driving. I had a prior version of this mount which fit other GPS devices perfectly. This mount does not work for me at all!

    Very useful to keep the GPS on the dash in the car or truck due to its weight that supports it. It works better than the window attachment. I put a sheet of material under it that prevents sliding as well so a sudden stop does not usually throw it off

    This mount works great with my gps system. I am a truck driver so it gets plenty of use. I have noticed minimal amounts of beads or whatever that stuffing is starting to escape the mount but it is in very small amounts so no worries. I definitely recommend this mount.
