This solves my biggest pet peeve with using a controller for media, accidentally pressing the bumper or stick and skipping parts if the show. This helps my kids be able to control their shows.

Remote works great to replace having to turn the controller on after it times out while streaming. Its not a radio frequency though this uses infared which needs direct line of sight.

Great little remote. No install or extra plugin necessary. Just pop the batteries in and it’s ready to go. The buttons could be a little more responsive, but you can’t beat it for the price

My husband recently bought an Xbox system primarily to use for Streaming Television shows but using the game controller was confusing for him. I purchased this remote to give him a more simple remote similar to what he has been using for cable television and it’s working very well.

Works great, really a huge step up from using the controller. Don’t love that it’s IR instead of Bluetooth, since i have to be more thoughtful about aiming than i do with a controller, but otherwise it has been great for my Series X.

I love this remote. I don’t have to use my xbox controller. This will be my second remote. The other one still works but the buttons wore out. I memorized the buttons layout but the other family members do not. So got another one so they can see. I put the other one away as backup. Later in the future I think this will be hard to find. So it’s good to have a backup.

Pretty good. You really have to target your Xbox when pressing a button, and the button do not behave the same depending on which streaming app you’re using, but once you’ve learned that, it works.
